BFV will not start from Steam since Anti Cheat update

I purchased BFV via steam and since you switched to the EAAC it will not start the game.

It gets to EA app 'preparing game', EAAC asks me to install, then it ends up back at steam 'validating game', which is an endless loop.

I play BF4, BFV and BF1 via steam.  2042 and BF3 are via the EA app.

If I try and install EAAC manually, the drop down does not show the EA games installed via Steam.

I have tried completely reinstalling BFV, but this makes no difference.

Windows 11 with latest patches (4080 FE, 64GB memory, i7 12700K)

Please advise...

    same issue, have tried everything, reinstalling both apps, reinstalling game, validating, clearing caches, running literally everything as administrator. i have spoken to tech support multiple times. When i launch through steam it appears to be an issue with anti-cheat, as that is the step before validating
