Here's an installLog of Battlefield V and Battlefield 1 has a different kind of installer, I'm not sure what to do, do you need anything else?

- 3 years ago@Pooviee I read this whole thread and I feel very sorry for you that you bought the game and can't even play it. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to, I don't know how to help you, nothing comes to mind, but I suspect that something may be biting somewhere. By the way, this is a terrible idea and a lot of people have problems with it, for example, that they buy games published by EA on STEAM. They have a problem between themselves somewhere because I read a lot of posts that someone bought an EA game not on EA app or old ORIGIN but on STEAM and the game didn't work for him, but it's also not your case because you write that you have BFV on the EA app so it should work. I have 5200 hours in BFV, I have the game almost from the premiere, once on ORIGIN, now on EA app and the game has always worked for me. As a consolation, I can tell you that there are literally so many cheaters in the game at the moment that it's hard to find a clean server, literally, there are hours when 50% of the servers have 2-3 cheaters. By the way, this is simply a scandal, someone should be held accountable for it. Although of course the game should work for you and there is nothing to even talk about here. When I have some time and inclination, I'll try to brainstorm and look for a solution, if something comes to my mind, I'll write you.

I'm sorry to hear about the cheaters, maybe the game could use a better anticheat system but of course nobody wants to develop one, which is sad. Honestly the game worked fine on Origins, though the problems I'm having started developing on origins when my NFS games didn't launch nor Starwars battlefront 2 I've gotten free from Epic games. Now that we have had to transfer from Origins to EA, not even BFV works. Even if I tried I doubt I would get a refund for all the games that don't work. This is so sad I suddenly got the urge to play BFV and BF1 but I couldn't play it. ☹️
- 3 years ago@Pooviee It was for you when ORIGIN was BFV worked and you could play it normally, and after switching to the EA app, not anymore? I want to understand you well? Have you suddenly lost more games that you used to play and which worked normally? Honestly, I've read a lot of posts in the thread but I don't know if you've tried reinstalling Windows? I assume you have Windows 11? You can't go back to 10? And then how it was, everything worked for you, if so, did you have Windows 10 or Windows 11 then? Don't you have a friend who still has Windows 10 if it worked for you? Although I'm overcomplicating things, there must be a reason, nothing happens without a reason. Where did you buy BFV on ORIGIN or on STEAM? If it's on ORIGIN, it should switch to EA app. It was like that for me, the library of games from ORIGIN switched to EA app. Do as I tell you, reinstall the system. Alternatively, you can literally uninstall every STEAM and EA app game first, then uninstall STEAM and EAapp itself. Then re-install the EA app and STEAM again and again, where you bought the games, as you bought BFV on ORIGIN, now you will have it on the EA app, then install it on the EA app. Although in my opinion it would be easier and faster to reinstall Windows. If you can't do it, ask someone, I think there's a good chance it will work. Take and reinstall Windows. Write if it helped.
- 3 years ago@19Romulus84 It was multiple games that I couldn't play anymore, such as 2 of my NFS games and battlefront 2 as mentioned, some of them I couldn't play on origin anymore. I have windows 10. I bought BFV on G2A for origins a long time before, but it always seemed to work. If I reinstall windows, does everything get deleted from my PC?
- 3 years ago@Pooviee What does it all mean exactly? Yes, most things are, but that's the point of putting Windows back together and keeping it clean. Don't be afraid your games on all launchers you will only have to install them. But so what, in your situation, you probably have no other choice, and there is a good chance that it will help. What do you have on your PC that you can't install quickly? Set up the system, download the graphics driver and then fly with STEAM, EA appm EPIC, Battle.net, UBISOFT and so on .... you will install the games you like the most at the beginning, and preferably you would start with BF1 or BFV and check if they work. If you're a regular user like me and 97% of other people then you have nothing to be afraid of, I bet you don't have anything of value on your computer except games, launchers and a couple of programs you can install in 15 minutes. Unless you have some important family photos or videos there, I don't have them, then if you don't want to lose them, copy them to a pendrive if you have them, and if not, you'll make a new one and that's it. I don't really see that you have too many options and certainly one of those that should help, there is a good chance, is reinstalling Windows. I would do that if I were in your place.

我是真的不能理解为什么我在steam买的战地五玩了五百多个小时以后在某次ea app更新后就再也启动不了,同样在steam购买的2042却能正常游玩。我已经尝试花费了好长时间去解决这个问题但是问题依旧存在,就算现在已经是2023年了,作为一个全球有名的一个游戏公司竟然连自己的游戏平台都做不好,讽刺的是原来的origin平台可以正常使用但是你们却要强制下线那个平台,以上的问题让我以及许多有类似问题困扰的玩家都十分恼火。你们ea游戏做不好的话就算了这是因为决策层就是一群目光短浅的蛀虫,然而作为门面的游戏平台做的如此简陋是真的令人怀疑你们ea的技术人员的能力是否合格,进入贵公司的门槛是否小学毕业就可以?另外,我并不指望你们能积极配合我解决问题,因为贵公司趾高气昂的态度是全球玩家有目共睹的,所以凡是以后贵公司的游戏我也不再购买,我也会将我遇到的问题积极的发布在各个社交媒体上呼吁大家共同抵制你们的低廉成本打造的破烂的。祝你们好运,希望在我有生之年能看到贵公司破产,以上所有的文字都不足以描述出我的怒火
I really can't understand why after playing for over 500 hours on Battlefield 5, which I bought on Steam, it couldn't start again after a certain EA app update, while the 2042 I bought on Steam can still play normally. I have been trying to solve this problem for a long time, but the problem still exists. Even though it is already 2023, as a globally renowned gaming company, I can't even do my own gaming platform well. Ironically, the original origin platform can be used normally, but you have to forcibly offline that platform. The above issues have made me and many players who have similar problems very angry. If you can't play EA games well, it's okay because the decision-making team is just a group of short-sighted bugs. However, as a superficial gaming platform, it's really questionable whether your EA technical personnel are qualified and whether the threshold for entering your company is just for completing elementary school? Additionally, I do not expect you to actively cooperate with me to solve the problem, as your company's high spirited attitude is evident to global players. Therefore, I will no longer purchase any of your company's games in the future, and I will actively post the problems I encounter on various social media platforms, calling on everyone to boycott your low-cost and dilapidated games. Good luck to you all. I hope to see your company go bankrupt in my lifetime. None of the above words are enough to describe my anger

I did all these same steps, for bf v and bf 1 one works bf v does not, I do not care if you no longer support bf v or threw all resources into 2042, all these years you at ea should of learned, by now people still play all your games hell i still even have 1942 people still on 1942 server, you messed up when bf v launched, you messed up with bf 2042 launch, you messed up with all your launches, but even still you have loyal player base, I am among these main base from 1942, fix your dang servers and dang updates, you do not you will loose all your player base, fix bf 1 launch issue, fix bf v launch issue and stop looking at the money, or next great idea, work with your player base you go woke you go broke, we have seen this of late, do not go broke over these issues, at this point you will.

Report players for cheating, abuse, and harassment
From there they will look into the report and take the appropriate action if needed.

HI @Pooviee Apologies for the delay!
As @19Romulus84 mentioned a reinstall of Windows might help if something is corrupted or conflicting with a game file. For resetting it can delete your files from the PC, for more info check out Microsoft's article: Reinstall Windows
If possible, we can try to run a Clean Boot first which won't delete anything but disables all services outside of windows incase something is conflicting with BF from launching.

- 3 years ago@EA_Illium I'm sorry, I just don't want to delete everything and have to install it back for hours if not days, I have 1 question though, if I reinstall windows on another user on this PC, will it reinstall only on that specific user, or all users? Also, I tried clean boot numerous times, it didn't work

HI @Pooviee Thanks for the update!
To confirm reinstalling Windows is a bit different from removing a specific user on the device. Reinstalling would wipe everything, while removing (then re-adding) a specific user will only affect the data they have.
Which should be anything in C:\Users folder [<- that user's name] will be deleted. Microsoft has a nice document here, with more information.
We have reported this issue to our team, If we receive an update I can message you in this thread. I did want to try one last thing, in a specific order:
- Restart your device
- Open Task Manager and 'end task' on the EA and EA Background service (if running)
- Launch Steam, then launch BF from Steam and check if the same issue appears

no @Pooviee your PC is not cursed.
I have similar issue, as many other users do too.
I purchased my bfv on steam, played it for a long period of time , and them when some EA app intersections started - game simply stopped starting, as on your earlier youtube vids.
luckily for me my bf1 (also purachased via steam) currently works...
i've googled a lot and many users have similar issues, but no solution is offered. and i higly doubt that reinstall windows would help.
its really pity that these intermediary apps ruin the user experiance and simply do not let us play...
