Chapter XP From Incomplete Games Never Credited

Summarize your bug If you earn chapter xp in a game and leave before it ends you are never credited with your Chapter XP from that game. This applies only to the xp gained through regular play. Bonus awards from Tides of War are awarded just fine when they occur. But your xp from just playing will never be credited if you do not finish the game.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Note your chapter xp. Log into any game and play a few minutes. Exit the game before it ends. You will never be given the xp from that game. It won't take you twenty minutes to verify this bug. Wait as long as you like. You'll never get that xp. Finish a game it doesn't give you the lost xp, only the xp from the game you finish. Exiting and reentering BF5 won't get you back your lost xp. Waiting over night for the server reset won't get you back your lost xp. This bug has cost players millions if not billions of xp and you either can't accept that it exists or you can't fix it. I have reported this more than once before an it's never been fixed.
What happens when the bug occurs? I've tried looking after playing another game to conclusion. I get the xp from the completed game but not from the incomplete game. I've exited the game and reentered. No xp from the incomplete games. I've waited over night for the server reset. No xp from the incomplete games. Only Chapter XP is bugged. Regular xp catches up somewhere along the line. But not Chapter XP. It is never awarded if you leave a game before the end.
What should be happening instead? I should get the chapter xp I earned playing my game even if I leave before the game ends.

Try it.  You'll find this to be the case.  I know it might be hard to believe you've overlooked something this fundamental but it's true.
