Hey, @DigCarpalTunnels are you on PC? If yes can you get the folder that you installed BAttlefield V and click on the exe for the game and see if that syncs Origin up.If that doesn't work right click BFV in Origin and click repair to see if that fixed it./Atic I am on PC, yes. I've tried repairing but origin doesn't seem to download the files @EA_Atic
I've also tried repairing the game and it didn't work
Just as an update:
- I've repaired the game multiple times and this hasn't worked
- I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it still doesn't work.
I've also attached the screen that appears whenever I open the game
Thank you for your help!
@DigCarpalTunnels Are you on win 10? And are you sure Origin/ BFV in directed to the same drive and folder as you have the game installed on please check as I have seen origin change the d/l location all on its own.
If origin / BFV download is directed to correct Drive and folder you have the game installed on and your on win 10 then try this please...
1- Fully shut/ close down origin
2- set origin shortcut on desk top to compatibility mode for windows 8
3- Open Origin again and let it do its thing to BFV when its done then shut down Origin
4-Fully shut down origin and remove compatibility mode for windows 8
5-Then open origin again and see if you can play now without it trying to dl the game.
EDIT>> @DigCarpalTunnels If this fails to help you please try this link... Game downloaded through Origin but will not install see this link please.
