So a friend on xbox gifted me the code to redeem a copy of battlefield V. (Im on PC and he is on xbox). I redeemed it using the xbox app on pc, but then there dosen't appear to be a way to download or install it. What am i doing wrong? It is in my library and says "owned" on the xbox app but I can't figure out how to download and install it. Thank you!

From what you’ve described, this may be related to how Battlefield V is distributed across platforms. Not all Xbox titles support Xbox Play Anywhere, which is the feature that lets you buy or redeem a game once and play it on both Xbox and PC. Battlefield V isn’t listed as a Play Anywhere title, which usually means the Xbox and PC versions are treated as separate purchases.
Because of that, redeeming an Xbox code on PC can sometimes show the game in your library, but it won’t provide a PC install option through the Xbox app.
