I know this issue has been adressed multiple times already. I use an Intel i5-10400f (above recommended) and a GTX 1080 (also above). My CPU is pinned at 100% almost all of the time. In busy areas the FPS drops down to 50, normally I get over 144 FPS. I've tried switching between DX11/12. I've noticed it runs a little bit better on DX12. FFR is off. I don't know what to do to lower the CPU usage.

Your CPU may just be reaching the maximum amount of work it can do. This game seems to lean on the CPU. I play at 1080p with everything on Low because I have an old system and I see the CPU maxing out while the GPU jumps between 40-70% usage.

Thanks for your reply. I also tried switching the settings to their lowest. It runs even worse than on high or ultra. This doesn't make any sence to me. Higher settings = better performance?
How does your i5 hold up in other Battlefield titles? Are you able to play 2042?

I haven't tried to play 2042 yet. I may pick it up if it goes on sale for less than $20.
