JU88 does 100% damage to Churchill tank?

Do you think it was possible you were also hit by some other explosives right about the same time the bombs dropped on you?

Depending on which upgrades you go for with a JU88, you can either equip it with one 1,000 kg bomb or four 500 kg bombs - land hits with either of those and your tank is likely to spontaneously spread itself over the surrounding countryside in small pieces, so I wouldn't count this as a bug, personally.

That's not a bug. You have either one 1,000KG bomb or four 500KG ( effectively 2,000KG of bombs ) bombs falling on your tank. Of course, it's going to be destroyed even if full health.

If you land all four of the 500kg it kills just about any armored vehicle.

Would be nice to hear from EA/DICE to confirm that this is intentional game balancing.

@EA_BlueberryNot sure. Would be nice if the kill-card could give you that information because it sucks when you think there's something wrong with the game.

I asked if you were hit by anything else prior to the bomb because it sounded normal. With direct hits the bombers are very effective and others here in the community are confirming that. There's some chatter around buffing AA in the official forums because situations like what you experienced. This might be worth a look if you wanted to jump into the conversation.

@EA_BlueberryDefinitely not hit prior to the bombs landing on me. I was 100% health and not engaged with any other targets.

It's a bomber which can choose to equip one 1000 kg bomb instead of 4 smaller bombs. If the 4 smaller bombs together can kill a churchill then the 1 big bomb should be able to. This isn't a bug, it is the current gameplay balance.

Haven't heard anything about 'balance' from EA yet so just waiting on confirmation. I agree that 1 big bomb = 4 small bombs but should either be able to take out a full health Churchill?
