Leaving 2042 and going back to BFV

We all know that the lastest game in the BF series is [Edit - Admin.] up. Assuming that EA turns it into a free game. Going back to BFV is a good idea. BFV lacks content and support. The most it went was early Pacific theather. There a lot to explore that can make the game great. In the Pacific there is the battle of Midway, Okinawa, Pelileu to name a few. In Europe, Operation Overlord ( D-Day both the beaches and paratroopers - great for grand operations), the invasion of Greece and Italy and of course the Eastern front with the Russians.

EA lost tons of money with 2042. Perhaps re-lauching BFV it could draw new players to what we know as Battlefield!

  • They have let BFV go to crap in what I assume is an effort to push people to 2042. There is a hacker in almost every game. I'm trying to get a refund for BFV.

Question is if EA/DICE even can move back and revive BFV if they wanted to, as all the developer kits have been long gone already, since they disbanded the support for further contents.  Even the Frostbite engine is gone if they didnt keep an entire intact backup of it somewhere, as they gave it a substantial revamp for the BF2042 Frankenstein...

Sad in so many ways that EA/DICE dropped BFV just at the moment when it truly turned good with the last maps and updates they released as it was a dramatic change to the better.
