More transparency?

So I was wondering if we could have a bit more transparency with what's going on with the community server issue? We keep getting the reply please keep an eye on the main thread for updates but there have been no updates. I think if you were a little more transparent, and gave the community general bits of information on what you think the problem is, there would be a lot less backlash. Something like 'we think the problem has something to do with 'x' or we have identified the problem is to do with 'y', we are in the process of 'such and such'.'
