Just letting you know that your reports on the BFV bans have been received and passed along. If you haven't already done so, please follow these steps to create an appeal and the Terms of Service team will take another look at the impacted account. If you've submitted an appeal and had already received a reply before this point, please feel free to submit a new appeal.
After submitting an appeal, you can keep an eye on the status of the appeal(s) here. If it says 'Transferred' or 'Waiting on Studio,' then the appeal is still being investigated and has been passed along to the right team for the case. Please avoid resuming the appeal(s) until you receive a response to prevent any additional delays.
As a heads up, we've combined multiple threads on this topic to make sure the information wasn't missed.
Thanks for your patience while waiting for an update!
Hello, I've been permanently banned on BFV because they noticed my gameplay improved so I'm definitely cheating.
Funny thing is that I have 2355 hours in this game and my KD still sucks.
Never cheated once in my life, on any game, ever. Not even macro.
How is that possible that real cheaters can play and have "fun" and honest players can't? I also recently purchased Battlefield 6 cause I love these games and now I'm scared I'll be unfairly punished there too.
I sent my appeal to EA but as I read on other threads, I don't think it will work.
Unfortunately, we're unable to support any account-related requests here on the forums, including account bans. If you feel that an action was placed on your account incorrectly, please follow these steps to create an appeal so that our Terms of Service team can take another look. Hopefully following the link on that page will help load the Penalty History site, but if not, the page also offers an alternative method.
Once you create an appeal, you can keep tabs on the status of your case by accessing your case history page. The ToS team will connect with you via email once they complete their review of your case. Please note that response times may vary, so we appreciate your patience!

Your ban began on Jan. 09, 2026 and is permanent.
Why we took action
We observed Gameplay enhancement in BATTLEFIELD V.
This means using unauthorized methods to enhance in-game performance by removing gameplay constraints or improving in-game abilities (e.g. weapon, movement, or item enhancements).
lol got a razer mouse and a old merch stealth keyboard and my pc wtf
Calls are not taken into account by support once EA has responded initially. What should I do? In other discussions on the EA forum, community managers say to try again, but the email sent by EA shows that the penalty is final and justified, even though it is a false positive: Hello,
Thank you for contacting us about the action taken on your account.
We have received your message and have conducted a thorough investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we have taken the appropriate action in accordance with EA's policy and procedures.
What this means
We have confirmed that your account was involved in cheating. Therefore, we will not be removing the penalty applied to your account.

Do you believe your account has been locked, banned, or suspended in error? Follow this procedure to obtain information about your account ban:
Never added anything to the game and always played clean with only my own skill. I've also been playing since it game out as well. Totally out of the blue. I obviously appealed but I'm not hopeful. Tbh I'll probably end up just closing my EA account.
Just adding to the discussion. Also came home to a permanent ban after lunch today. I've been playing since it came out. Never had anything running and obviously no cheats loaded or used (I wouldn't be posting here). The reason listed is "gameplay enhancements" but no other information is given on what that is. It's frustrating because there are real cheaters in the game and EA instead bans normal players. I'm guessing this is some sort of automated or AI BS.
Already appealed but not hopeful in the outcome given the lack of information in the accusation.
I downloaded and played Battlefield 6. Today I started playing BFV and guess what, a BAN!
What does this mean? Battlefield V is now inaccessible to you. The ban began on January 9, 2026 and is permanent. Why did we take action? We observed gameplay enhancements in Battlefield V. This means using unauthorized methods to improve in-game performance, such as removing in-game restrictions or enhancing in-game abilities (e.g., weapon, move, or item upgrades).
My account, which I've been playing with since 2014, is now useless. I want my game back! I'm a BFV fan! They're deliberately banning me to make me play BF6!
Why did CM combine multiple threads into one? I get it's a bad look but this looks even worse by trying to hide multiple issues in one thread. The CMs have already indicated multiple times they can do nothing to help but now they're actively trying to hide it.
