Nulled account

Anyone else whose account has been nulled after not playing the game for ages?

I remember being something Colonel last time I played years ago when the game was brand new, but today when I installed it again after a long time of not even getting close to any of the elder Battlefield series I noticed that I wasn't even a Private anymore, and I had to go through the tutorial once again, while a friend of mine installed the game at the same time didn't have to go through the tutorial nor haven't lost their rank in the game.

Wtf is EA/DICE doing?

  • Hello @real1_BlackWolf,

    Are you sure you're using the same account and its the same Battlefield game? EA has a strict policy of not "returning" lost online progress, so it's hard to think that something can be done by EA support.

    It is the same account. The only thing that has changed is my nick, otherwise the very same EA account has been used.

    If it's due to my nick, then it's low end bs behaviour from their end!

    @real1_BlackWolf,

    It's definitely not because of the nickname, the only step I can recommend is that you talk to EA support. As I have said previously, EA has a strict policy on this, so do not expect much with EA  support.

    @real1_BlackWolf I had a quick look on Battlefield Tracker but can only see the account with less than an hour's playtime. However, I can see a rank 118 BF4 account on Battlelog. I hate to ask, but is there any possibility that you're mixing BF4 and BFV up?

    If you're certain that you're not and you should have more progress for BFV, you'll need to contact EA Help so they can investigate, as Danisoff mentioned. You should be able to open an email case or have a live chat at help.ea.com. All progress is saved to the Cloud, so EA Help should be able to see this if there is any data.

    I'm not mixing them up. I have every single title of Battlefield for PC in my account and I've spent hundreds of hours playing BFV, while thousands of hours on BF4 etc other titles.

    I was shocked when I noticed that I had to start all over again. And why would I spend money on a game title and not play it? Explain that if you can...

    There's no way of contacting EA anymore as I've seen.

    Back in the days there was a chat you could use, but not anymore. Not even an email form is available, or at least I can't find it....

    Yeah, found it eventually.

    Waiting for Ali to find out what actually happened to my account since he could find my old email still lurking in the systems despite me changing it years ago...

    Ok, the problem is on DICE, not EA. Something must have happened during the time from Origin to Play and sync to DICE that my account got nulled for no reason. Am waiting for a reply from DICE representatives to see what the verdict is, since Ali (EA Support) could see that I've purchased the game on release date and it really sounded weird that I wouldn't have not played a minute of it in the first place...
