No, just in Firestorm after the recent BF update.
No. It has happened several times, both in solo and squad.
First time it happened was playing squad when jumping off the plane.
Second time is what this report is about, Firestorm solo crashing midgame.

What did you do just before the crash happen?
After 260+hrs of play I never experienced a crash of any kind. Unfortunately, there was a windows update, and a BFV patch a few days ago and I updated to the lastest 419.35 nvidia drivers.
Reverting to the previous nvidia drivers made no difference. It'll be playing fine then I start experiencing stutters/hitches, the game then freezes and drops to desktop with no error. Event viewer refers to KERNELBASE.DLL and another at same timestamp "Driver has encountered a problem and has recovered". Oddly this problem has been happening for long before I experienced it, so it's a puzzler as to why I'm suddenly afflicted.
Does it happen in all game modes?
Yes, even in Combined Arms solo or with a friend.
Does it always happen at the same action/place?
No, it's completely random. You could be playing for 2 or 3 matches or even a few hours without a problem.
