    Hey, @Hawkiinz

The team is still aware of this happening but I'm afraid there isn't a time-frame on when this will be fixed that I can give you. To be more transparent with the BF community, the team is now using the Trello board to highlight what the team is currently focusing on addressing in upcoming patches/updates. This doesn't mean those mentioned on there will be the only things fixed, but does showcase what they have at their highest priorities.

From what others have mentioned in the post, a workaround for this is to go to DX11 during customization. Thanks for hanging in there with us on this.

Thank you Blueberry but I think I have my answer.

I'm sure the bug will never be fixed to whether we are a small percentage of players who have encountered this problem.

I know you're not a developer. But we have to make a choice between performance (DX12) and customization (DX11).

The player should not suffer this. The player must be able to fully enjoy 100% of his game. DX12 or DX11.

  • I've noticed this as well I used to have a GTX 1060 and it ran dx 12 fine, But since have got a RX 580 and got the dark screen bug, Did you try this?     WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 1
