Re: My BFV account was mistakenly banned.

Unfortunately, we're unable to support any account-related requests here on the forums, including account bans. If you feel that an action was placed on your account incorrectly, please follow these steps to create an appeal so that our Terms of Service team can take another look. Hopefully following the link on that page will help load the Penalty History site, but if not, the page also offers an alternative method.

Also banned today for "gameplay enhancements."

Never added anything to the game and always played clean with only my own skill. I've also been playing since it game out as well. Totally out of the blue. I obviously appealed but I'm not hopeful. Tbh I'll probably end up just closing my EA account. 

Just adding to the discussion. Also came home to a permanent ban after lunch today. I've been playing since it came out. Never had anything running and obviously no cheats loaded or used (I wouldn't be posting here). The reason listed is "gameplay enhancements" but no other information is given on what that is. It's frustrating because there are real cheaters in the game and EA instead bans normal players. I'm guessing this is some sort of automated or AI BS. 

Already appealed but not hopeful in the outcome given the lack of information in the accusation. 

problem is when i hit the appeal and penealty history see pic i cant get any longer.

only  thing i got is under advance launce option   -PerfOverlay.FpsDisplayScale 3- 

cant see that should result in a ban

Why we took action

We observed Gameplay enhancement in BATTLEFIELD V.

This means using unauthorized methods to enhance in-game performance by removing gameplay constraints or improving in-game abilities (e.g. weapon, movement, or item enhancements).

Also banned with the same reason, WTF EA with your updates ?? 

Also get the same reason for nothight, EA <removed> updates with mass BANS

I downloaded and played Battlefield 6. Today I started playing BFV and guess what, a BAN!

What does this mean? Battlefield V is now inaccessible to you. The ban began on January 9, 2026 and is permanent. Why did we take action? We observed gameplay enhancements in Battlefield V. This means using unauthorized methods to improve in-game performance, such as removing in-game restrictions or enhancing in-game abilities (e.g., weapon, move, or item upgrades).

My account, which I've been playing with since 2014, is now useless. I want my game back! I'm a BFV fan! They're deliberately banning me to make me play BF6!

What the <removed> is going on here, EA? Why are you banning regular players in BFV?

Why did CM combine multiple threads into one? I get it's a bad look but this looks even worse by trying to hide multiple issues in one thread. The CMs have already indicated multiple times they can do nothing to help but now they're actively trying to hide it. 

EA tactic started banning normal players and cheaters never banned 

Calls are not taken into account by support once EA has responded initially. What should I do? In other discussions on the EA forum, community managers say to try again, but the email sent by EA shows that the penalty is final and justified, even though it is a false positive:
