REQUEST: Hold to slide, instead of double tap

As a quality of life improvement, can we please have the slide key be hold (CTRL) instead of double tap, or at least have that be an option to change between the two? Right now, double tapping only sometimes causes my character to slide. You have to double tap the right way and it gets to be annoying. Please consider this change!

    I'd like to add that on PC, sliding only works a fraction of the time - way less than 50% of the time. 

    Wasn't sliding in BF1 done via holding CTRL? I remember it was easier to slide in BF1.
