Issue still present. Here are some details I've gathered:This is neither a PC hardware issue, a Windows issue, nor an anti-cheat issue. We know because consoles are affected tooCurrently not all servers are affected. Yesterday only half of the Official servers I checked had the stuttersSome people experience seconds-long pauses, while others only get ~150ms hiccups (which still is very disruptive)A burst of stutters occurs when loading into the map (be it at the start of round or when joining a game in progress), then other seemingly-random stutters occur throughout the matchThe number of stutters during the initial burst is somewhat proportional to the amount of players on the serverThe mid-round random stutters almost always come in pairs, but the pairs aren't always spaced apart the sameThe stutters do not occur until players spawn into the map. This is most evident when in spectator mode and the server switches to the next mapFor context here is a video I captured 10 days ago showing the initial burst of stutters at the beginning of the round, and moments later some of the "random" stutter pairs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGzMLjZ5-8sIt'd be interesting to figure out if all players on a given server experience the stutters, and if they all experience them at the same time. I strongly suspect that each stutter (pair) coincides with a player spawning into the map for the first time for that round.

At first, I thought it was just me since I play on my gaming laptop (portable for university), but it turns out this is a universal problem. The game keeps stuttering and dropping fps in game. But yeah DICE dropped game support so not much can be done. They are making players go to BF6 for sure with this move. Not gonna happen.

I can confirm the game is now hitching in a way it never used to before.I can't remember for sure when the issue started, but a couple of days ago sounds about right to me. Looking at some files on my PC I can see that Javelin received an update on the 20th, while the EA launcher received an update on the 22nd and then again on the 26th (UTC dates).No system updates or other configuration changes on my end, this problem clearly stems from EA—as often is the case (remember when two months ago a faulty Javelin update caused some people's PCs to stutter any time they pressed a key? Good times. Still not 100% fixed, by the way).

Hey, I came from a vacation a few weeks ago, and since then my battlefield V has had very bad frame lag issues. I keep losing in 1v1 scenarios because the screen freezes every other second. It did not happen before, started about two weeks ago. Please help! Ps: I'm on ps4 which sounds stupid but it had never had such problem before.

Some notes:
I checked 50 servers and over 40 of them had stutters, though I lost some footage so not all servers are shown in the video.
Some Community Games that worked fine last time I checked are affected now. Perhaps they were restarted at some point, so technically they're not the same server instance as before? I don't know if that's how it works or if it matters.
At 05:05 it's probably a bad server but with so few stutters I'm not 100% sure.
At 17:04 I join before the start of round, everything looks fine at first (no initial burst of stutters), but then 20 seconds into the match some stutters do occur.
At 26:14, 29:16, and 30:34 I join before the start of round and again it's fine at first, but this time the stutters begin as soon as players spawn in.

Been playing for 5 years, no issues, now suddenly this game is crashing on me every time I try to play. Right before it crashes, stutters and slows. I'm wondering if it's the same issue?

I like this idea as those Narvik, areas and mercury are proper battlefield maps. The rest from tactical feel more like cod, and I don't like cod :) there's no strategy, just shotguns/type2a shredding through the smoke.

No changes to the actual game files. Just anti-cheat update (seems like a hotfix to address the error 95 from yesterday's patch) and a new EA launcher version, as shown here: https://steamdb.info/app/1238810/history/

Battlefield 5 is actually the only game i enjoy playing, well since EA started messing it up completely. Random Ban waves, Random bugs, and now look at this mess. About 2 Weeks now and nothing has happened. I guess i will sell my gaming setup and quit gaming forever.
