Spammers spectating in Asia

So as well as the cheaters we have in the Asia region, we also have players that join as spectators and spam nonsense to the channel every second, which renders the chat channels useless. Are you going to do something about them EA???

    You mean cheat code seller?

Yeah, they're a bit smarter now, they made chat tad longer so it's hard to see who's sending them.

I've reported few of them and it's gone down a lot, but they know how to circumvent that.

Yeah.Exactly! I also checked my in game player reports, for cheaters in the EA area - all said they are closed! even ones wher I just reported a day ago! I guess the importance of checking reports is not even a thing for EA!

I just don't get it! Surely it can't be difficult for EA to have some rules setup that prevent accounts from spamming the chat channels—like kick them if they send more than 10 messages within the space of 15 seconds or something stupid like that! Seriously, wtf EA!!!

  • It's been 7 months since I posted this, and not a single comment from anyone EA-related! It would be nice if they would actually acknowledge this and do something about it!

Surely it wouldn't be too difficult for them to implement some sort of posting restriction in a chat channel – stop them from posting too many times within a time limit or if they do, have them kicked from the server?!?!?!

Come on, EA, this is one of the most frustrating elements currently in ALL ASIA DICE SERVERS!!!

All the spammers now even have the same name – [Edit - EA_Barry] (xx is numbers)

The lack of action on this speaks volumes about your care for your players!

Sorry, but that reply is about as useful as a chocloate teapot EA_Barry

I have followed the reporting steps, multiple times for the same player names (and there are many players that get reported), and yet, after weeks and weeks, the reported players STILL PLAYING and the SPAMMERS ARE STILL SPAMMING CHAT, and nothing has been done about anything.

If I check the reports to see what happened with them it looks like as soon as they are submitted THEY ARE CLOSED.

That would make it seem that nobody from EA is even bothering to check them.

It's a very sad situation that players that have been loyal memebrs of the EA community, and have been playing your games ffrom as far back as BF 2 are treated with such disregard when trying to brring to your attention an issue that is clearly somehtign that affects everyone that purchases and plays your games and is looking for a fair and safe environment to play in.
