heychadwick,
I might be in the same boat as you. I updated windows to 1809 version, made no difference.
I want to try this audio settings thing but I can't even get the game to load, I've tried over 20 times. I've repaired the game, shut down my computer and done a fresh boot up 3 times, I've cleared my documents folder of BV5, done CCleaner, and more things and every time I click on it as Run Administrator it starts to load up, get a black screen for a few seconds and it crashes. I can't even get to the landing page to try the audio change to see if that works for me. I've already installed this game what 3 times, I don't want to do it a 4th just to create a scenario where I might be able to get to the landing page to try the audio change, so far down the rabbit hole its ridiculous, probably blown 10+ hours on this trying to get it to work, what a crummy situation. It shouldn't be this hard to get a game to work, and most games I download and load work the first time I install them without any difficulty whatsoever. Shouldn't need to do an IT scrub of my whole system to get a game to work.
