Why do I get banned without playing multiplayer mode?

Recently I wanted to replay the Battlefield 2042 series, but was prompted that I was banned from using the online mode. After looking up the email, I realized that I was banned a long time ago.

In the email, there is no mention of why I was banned, so allow me to recount. First of all, I purchased the Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 series through the Steam channel and did not violate any of your regulations regarding purchase requirements. Secondly, I only made one playthrough after the purchase. I downloaded it late in the evening and entered the game in the middle of the night when the download was complete. Due to the internet and the late hour, I only played the Episodic Mode and did not even play the multiplayer. Therefore, I did not have the opportunity or time, much less the possibility, to cheat using third-party software.

In summary, I do not understand why I was banned and my behavior did not violate any rules.

    Hello.

Yep, I understand your scenario and have tried this. I filed a complaint according to the process on the page. But I didn't receive anything back and there is no record of it in My Case. That means I don't know if a successful communication was made with the service team.
I wish there was a way that I could actually know that there was communication with the team, I need to address this issue regarding the ban.

@DaavidLee If you are unable to see a case then it may not have gone through as even closed cases should be visible in there.

I would advise contacting again to put in your appeal as we are unable to help with banned accounts here on the forum.
  • @EA_Rtas OK, I'll try again. But several of my previous attempts have failed. After submitting it shows that it has been successfully appealed, but it is still not visible in the case.

@DaavidLee It can take several days to receive a response on an email case. I understand it's frustrating but you'll have to persevere with Support as there is nothing we can do for banned accounts here on the forum.
  • Facing the same issue. Recieved a completely random ban, now I can't play the games I've paid for. EA are a joke! Email dispute taking too long and online chat function for support has magically disappeared!

I feel for you. These bot-like responses from the "mods" just add Salt to the wound.

    Good luck!
