Why is the player base so poor recently?

@NuttysKunKsThe playerbase has always been poor.

Perhaps the game has a lot of new players now (due to discounts etc), but half the time, the games are wildly unbalanced and this is often due to good players on one side vs. "noobs" on the other. Or one side has "20 camping snipers" vs. the other side with all players PTFOing. But it has always been like this.

Even BF4, with almost only vets now, has this problem.

Dice really needs to do something about balance, we will see what happens in BF6, because it has been an issue that has only gotten worse in BF1 and BFV.

Very true.. the only solution that comes to mind are private minimum ranking servers.

If let’s say the minimum level was 75 to play on a server the player base would be much better quality.

Thats the only way I see of implementing some sort of balance.

end of round balance could work but dice seems to stumble at how to make it balanced. 

Everyone is just waiting for the cheaters to play enough for a while.

This was the case with battle 4, now there are almost no cheaters there. After a year, you can safely play

Now you just sit and report the cheaters throughout the match, go to another map and the same thing continues there, but with other cheaters.

You just work as a moderator in the game while others are fun for the cheaters.

Before we start derailing this thread a friendly reminder talking about cheating it's something we don't allow currently on AHQ.

I've just been on the worst team I've ever been on in BF1. It's the one time I wish I wasn't on console because I'd definitely been typing that message out to the team.

You are wrong, there is a lot of lvl 300+ guys who just sit at spawn with the tank or something, just ******* off to their big KD :D Though I agree that most new players tend to play sniper for some reason.

I'm not sure but I'm thinking the influx of ps+ players might not be such an enjoyable experience for average players like me. Balance seems miles worse (is that possible) and certain situations and modes/maps might be better avoided.

I understand your frustration.

Some sides are clan stacked or good player stacked, i have noticed an increase of new players leading to lone wolf playing.

With what seems to be promised the next BF should be good.

Dice do something about balance? HA, I came back to BFV recently and it's just like it was before with garbage balance.
