Wrongfully Banned — Veteran Battlefield Player Requests Fair
Hello everyone,
I am posting here because my Battlefield V account (EA ID: ShenQ1ng_666) was recently banned, and I strongly believe this is a mistake. I have been a loyal Battlefield player for years, and the series has been a huge part of my gaming life. I have over 1,000 hours in BFV, and I have even pre-ordered Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition because of my passion for the franchise.
On August 19, I played while traveling at an esports hotel, which meant I was not using my usual device or IP address. I suspect that this unusual login circumstance may have caused the system to flag my account incorrectly. I want to state very clearly that I have never used cheats or third-party software of any kind. I play the game fairly and enjoy the challenge of competing honestly.
It is possible that the hotel’s billing software or the computer’s unique machine ID had previously been flagged by EA’s anti-cheat system. If that is the case, I had no knowledge of it and could not have prevented it. I am simply a passionate player who wants to enjoy the game legitimately, and this ban feels devastating, as if all my dedication and time spent were being ignored.
I have submitted multiple appeals regarding this ban, and I want to express my sincere gratitude for every response I have received from EA so far. I truly appreciate the support and communication. However, despite these replies, I have not yet received a fair resolution that considers the full context of my situation. I am requesting a thorough manual review that takes into account my long-term gameplay history, my honesty as a player, and the circumstances of my unusual login on August 19.
Being flagged as a cheater by mistake is extremely discouraging and emotionally difficult for a player who has invested so much time and passion into the game. I hope that EA can recognize this, and I humbly ask for a fair and transparent investigation, ideally providing me with concrete evidence if any specific action triggered the ban.
I also want to reach out to the community for advice or support, as this situation has been very stressful for me. I hope sharing my experience can help others understand that sometimes bans may occur due to circumstances beyond a player’s control, like unusual devices, IP addresses, or shared hardware in public or esports settings.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post. I am simply asking to continue playing fairly and enjoying a series I have loved for many years. I hope my case will be reviewed carefully, and that I will have the opportunity to restore my account so I can continue being a part of the Battlefield community.
