Anyone Truly Happy?
Is anyone here truly happy with this game? It seems like the only people who are happy are those on a nostalgic kick and the YouTubers/other sources who are either A) nostalgic or B) bought out by EA...

@dokken12 I agree with the modding teams showing them how its done. But, the legal reason I don't buy. If that's the case 2k, Madden, Fifa and other independent companies who allow modding would've been sued a long time ago. It's 3 things
1. Ea is lazy
2. Greedy

@antpboy12 Those games you mentioned are professional leagues with professional players and player associations that allow likeness content in those games, legally. These are college players, and the reason why there wasn't a game for 11 years is because EA got sued for using players likeness without consent. That is why they had to pay 12,000 players to have them sign a license agreement to be used in this game. So, EA is not taking that risk to put the game out on PC for it to be modded in any way, for this specific reason, and probably others.
Why do you think we can't edit the real players in the game now? So, yeah... it's a legal reason. But, I agree with you that EA is horribly greedy and lazy. There's no doubt there.

- @dokken12 Yeah, still not buying that. 2k modding community has been putting High School and College players NIL in it for years. Heck, I remember running My league with ESPN top 50 high school players and College. Yeah, you might be right on this but...if EA made such a deal this might be the dumbest thing they ever done. They pretty much handcuffed themselves. I don't see anyway this game will survive with out customization. It would be in their best interest to get the gameplay down and we all can see they can't even do that.
