The University of Georgia Redcoat Band plays their 3rd down song ... on their own 3rd down. The Redcoat Band only plays "Choker" (Dies Irae) on the opponent's 3rd down (or other high-stakes situations) to drown out the other team's own play calls, etc. I know this is another one of those things that might not matter to a lot of people, but the Dawgs are definitely a lot of players' favorite team and I can't be the only one who has noticed!
I can understand inaccurate band uniforms, because frankly I'm just happy the bands are included at all, along with accurate fight songs and rally songs. Hearing the 3rd down song the first time I played got me SO hyped and I LOVE that they included that detail! But it's frustrating hearing it when I'm on offense.
