In 2025, Blocking by the O Line against the D-Line’s initial jump off of the ball is non existent on screen plays.
The O Line is supposed to “check” their assigned Defensive pass rusher PRIOR TO moving to their assigned zone of responsibility for the screen. This isn’t happening at all on 75% of screen plays.
I’ve been playing EA NCAA Football since the early 1990’s and have never seen blocking on screen plays so terrible and so unrealistic as I’m seeing in 2025.
