I've heard lots of things honestly. I know we can't edit real players but what about fake ones? Lately I've been told we can't edit ratings at all. But I've Also been told that we can edit fake players "more" freely. I'm not sure what that means exactly.

Names, height, weight, ratings, etc???
You can edit the names, height, and weight, but not the faces, attributes, or even the numbers.
I saw that on the beta. But I wonder if on the actual game we will be able to edit more. What do you think ot know??????

I'm kind of surprised we can edit names. That would be the one thing I would expect them to limit if they are concerned about people creating NIL opt outs or future opt outs and streaming gameplay of them. There is zero legal reason for leaving out editing of ratings for new recruits and that is something that would prevent me from buying the game. I would expect numbers to fall into the same category. This is still a test build but I am definitely apprehensive about all this until I am able to start up the EA Play trial on the 16th.
I hope we can change faces and hairstyles
NTE's dynasty video showed that you could customize their name, height, weight, handiness, and gear, but it looked like other physical appearances (hair, face) could not be. All of that way fine imo, but not being able to edit the numbers was wild. Hopefully that was just beta glitch.
Question though... WHY would you want to be able to change a recruits attributes once you sign them?
Why is EA not allowing the numbers to be edited?
I really want to know what the reason is behind this.
I like to edit the ratings and make the recruits match the real life recruits. I try to make my dynasty as real as possible for my teams.
That you can do, just not the name nor the number

And assuming it's the same as Madden, I give the QB the fastest release and up his agility and change of direction because without that they move in the pocket like they are stepping in molasses. Beyond that, I make sweeping edits to a lot of teams. I make some teams into juggernauts so they are a challenges to play in the playoffs. If a rival is falling off I make them better. If a player doesn't develop the way I think he should, I make sure he does. I usually spend 4-5 hours editing a roster before I start a league in any sports game, then another 30 mins to an hour every 2 years that pass by in the league to make minor adjustments. This is a huge part of the experience for me and it was pretty much my one dealbreaker for this game.
