Just wanted to drop in here and share that the title update on the 29th of August added the ability to edit ratings for non-NIL players and recruits.

the nostalgia has worn off and the games flaws have been exposed. if you are an offline dynasty player the game is trash. 0 customization. No reason recuits cannot be 100% customizable and IF NIL is an issue then make it so we cant edit the names. seems like laziness from EA per usual

We appreciate you letting us know. WE are all passionate about this game and we want it to be a great game so we want it to have all that the game can offer. If we can already change the names of the players why not edit the jersey numbers, the ratings, the skin and hair. Let's make this the best game ever. Please Please please keep us updated on any news for player editing.

Thanks for the response. I am loving the game!
I think many would love more editing. However, I am curious about the recruit generation.
With so much real-world data I am curious why the recruits aren't a little more "authentic".
I know it might be touchy subject. But you have real-world data that you could mimic to ensure recruits at each position are more in line with the sport we all know.
Just my two cents. I am so excited about the future of this game!

Has this been patched yet? Already been confirmed there is no legal implication. Fictional characters can't sue EA.
So the patch fixed some things like ratings editing. For recruits. But the numbers of jerseys and the skin color is still a no go. There is just no reason for it other than they want to make it a new feature for next year. It is ridiculous.
Kent, thanks for your response. It doesn't put our minds at ease but thanks for taking the time. I am not a lawyer, but I (as I am sure others as well) can't comprehend why the game "teases" us with player editing options but we are unable to do any editing. I completely understand that we will never be able to edit a NIL OPT IN player's image/appearance and name. I do not understand why we are stripped of the ability to edit their roster numbers and ratings. Again, it is not altering their NAME and APPEARANCE. Fake/Non NIL players we should be given full editing options for. Hoping that this will be provided in a future update.
Again thanks for your time. I am enjoying the on the field gameplay but getting annoyed with lack of customization/editing options.
Now that they fixed the recruits editing of ratings and jerseys they need to fix the recruits themselves. For example too many white players at certain positions and not enough black players except for kickers there they got it backwards to many black players and not enough white players. Is this happening to everyone?????
