Yes you can change the names and do position changes as well.

I typed up a really detailed post about sim stats, but I think it got removed. That sucks because it took some time to compile the data and now it's just gone.

So in dynasty after the first year you can edit ?
Ok so can you please specify what you can edit??? And not edit after the first year??
We must unite and ask for more editing powers. This has the potential to be a great game. But if we can't edit recruits then how can we keep playing the game. We need to edit the name, skin, jersey #, height weight and body. Let's tell EA that wee need it we want it. We got to have it. !!!!!!! Please!!!!! Let's be nice but be demanding after all we are the ones that pay for the game.

The generated recruits cannot be edited, I’m in dynasty mode now and it won’t even let you look at the recruits in the player profile screen. There’s not even an “view player card” option for the generated recruits. It’s bs after your first season in dynasty mode. I can’t believe the life of me that EA did this and thought it was ok.
i have all recievers with Italina names and looks. Please ea let us edit names and appearances
This is easily the absolute dumbest "feature" in this game. I don't understand how EA can nail gameplay and literally drop the ball in every other aspect of the game. Game would be a 0/10 of it wasn't for decent gameplay.
It makes no sense to allow recruits after on team to be allowed to edit name but not abilities. This will be last time I buy this new game. NCAA 14 much better at that.
@AskBrad This is a silly rule. I won't buy this game again.
