What is your gamertag/PSN ID? DaLoveDocta69
Date/time issue occurred 9/1/2024 9:38 PM
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
Which mode has this happened in? Dynasty
Summarize your bug This dynasty is a few years into the future at this point and I have experienced a similar bug to this about 3-5 times in my time playing dynasty. I went into OT as the Akron Zips against the Ohio Bobcats. Even though the clock hit 0 after I hit a tying field goal (0:28), the game goes into the "Key Moment Recap"(0:50), I select "More Options" so that I can try to make a choice in OT, seeing as regulation is already over. For whatever reason, a kickoff occurs with the Bobcats now at the 17 yard line. (1:13) The announcer gives something to the effect that OT is starting now, so I thought it was maybe some weird minor glitch. (1:20) For some reason, when I tried to continue the game into OT, I was not given the option to play offense, essentially handing the Ohio Bobcats the game since they started with the ball at the 25. Oddly, the Akron helmet appears at 1:23 which would seem to imply that I was about to go out on offense, but I was never given the chance. At 1:25, the Bobcats come out on offense and eventually score a TD @ 2:36. They score a TD and the game is over without me having a chance to respond. Unsure if this has to do with Super-Sim or what the reason for this error would be.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? - Play Super-Sim "Play All Offense" - Kick a tying field goal with 0 time left on the clock - Go to "More Options" - Select "Play All Offense" in slow Super-Sim
What happens when the bug occurs? I am not given an opportunity to play offense in overtime. Essentially handing the game to the opponent barring a turnover.
What do you expect to see? The ability to play overtime with my offense and an opportunity to win the game.
As I said, I have experienced this issue several times, it has generally happened when the slow Super-Sim is combined with overtime. As I noted earlier, the Akron helmet did pop on screen for a moment which made me think I was going to go on offense, but the Bobcat offense came onto the field. So, I am not sure if the game took my field goal as my OT drive or what happened. I've lost games several times because of this, but I was so frustrated by this because I had assumed something like this would've been fixed already. I'm sure i'm not the only one.
