College Football 26 Gameplay Wish List

Time for wishlist #3. I've already done a dynasty and team builder wish list, but now's time for gameplay.

• Wear and Tear
  • I think this was an awesome addition to the game. Might be a hot take, but I like having injuries occur throughout the games. That being said, when playing extended quarters and through a season in dynasty, the frequency of severe injuries is too low in my opinion. The injury slider seems to only adjust the frequency of injuries, not the severity. Not saying I want players to get hurt, but it's not as fun playing a late season game and half the opposing team's starters are out and your team is completely healthy. 
  • Great addition, but definitely needs some tuning.
• Dynamic Weather and Time
  • This is one that I think a lot of the community will agree with me on being a must
  • It doesn't have to happen every game, but a fluid weather system would be great to have. It could change the game completely. Look at the Michigan vs Bama Bowl game. It was a monsoon during the first quarter, but by the second quarter it was sunny and clear. Maybe the location would play a factor. 
  • I have hardly played any snow games in my dynasties and I choose teams primarily in the midwest. That should change!
  • The lighting during the game should change with each quarter. A game starting at 6 or 7 pm should not have the same lighting once the game is over. It would be cool to see a game start with sun and end in the dark, especially as the year goes on.
• Dynamic Difficulty
  • For the life of me I cannot remember, which madden had it (maybe madden 10) but I remember the difficulty fluctuating as you played. If you were great at passing the ball, the game would gradually get more difficult. If you sucked at running the ball, the game would gradually get a little easier. At launch, Heisman difficulty wasn't even fun to play on, but as tuning has happened the game has become super easy now. It's rare that a game feels really challenging any more. 
• Grass Stains and Muddy Jerseys
  • Can we finally add this back into the game? I understand that most fields now a days are turf, but the all grass fields still exist! Please add this feature back.
• Defensive Plays
  • The coverage shell adjustments were great at the beginning, but something has been broken since the last update. The Cover 2 shell no longer works.
  • We cannot adjust corners and DBs to press one by one. You have to press the entire defense. This has been broken since the launch of the game and has not been addressed. 
  • Players should not just be covering grass in zone coverage. Have players sink to the nearest defender. Too many times WRs are sitting in a zone (usually the flats) and there is no one near them. Really just the flat zone drops need to be addressed. 
  • Dline Stunts: Can we stop pretending like the DLine just plays their own gap each play? There are zero stunts or twists in the game and this needs to be addressed. 
• Position Terminology
  • I know almost every wish list out there has this on there but it's beyond time to update the terms used for positions, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
  • Edge, Sam/Mike/Will LB, Nose, 3 Tec, Field Corner, Boundary Corner. Just some suggestions, but long gone are RE/LE and LOLB and ROLB.
  • The LBs should travel in realistic ways. Sam should go to the offensive passing strength, Will away etc.\

Overall this might be my smallest list. I have been pretty happy with gameplay, but I'm sure others have a much more indepth list and some things I probably havent considered.
