I naturally sent in the bug report. Decided to just sim the game and Charlotte won in an upset. Dropped me from #4 in the nation down to #19. I was done at that point. It's like the game did not want me to win that one.
By the way, does anyone know why they are the 49ers? Was there a gold rush in Charlotte too?
I love when a video game decides I need to lose, no matter what.
At least when Mass Effect did it, it was in a cut scene so I didn't feel like a useless sack. I really enjoyed seeing my 99 speed rb get out run by a linebacker on an interception. The anti DK Metcalf meme, if you will.
I never sim the week anymore, cause I know my 8-0 team will lose in an upset at home to that 2-7 team. I have to supersim through quarter by quarter to see how it goes. And when I do, THEN it gives me the win in a blowout. ugh.
Oh and I won a (simmed) game 35-14..... in overtime apparently yesterday. I won back to back natty's at Wyoming, and I only get four, FOUR coordinator offers. I had multiple 90+ seniors, only one guy gets drafted. Post patch wear and tear is broken. Had 87 Ovr, 87 Off, 87 Def team in the preseason, and by week 10 was down to 83,82,84 with no one on the injury report, no negative stats on the roster.
The bugs are countless, but what really takes the cake is the scoreboard/clock disappearing bug. The most obvious, probably simplest bugs to correct, yet no one apparently tested this patch out before release and caught it. EA is amateur hour game devs.
As to the OP's sentiment, I thought the same thing today. The game is more broken now than at launch, so I guess I just have to be done playing and pray they actually fix things. Sad.
