Why is it required to have PS PLUS to play team builder teams in dynasty? This is just plain stupid. There is no reason to require this at all, NCAA 13 and 14 never required it, so why now? The only reason would be greed. Is EA getting money or something for making players pay for PS PLUS? I shouldn't be forced into paying for a service I will never use just so I can play my teambuilder teams in a dynasty. I literally bought the game so I could do this and now I just wasted my money.

To confirm College Football 25 does have online requirements, you can read more CF requirements in our blog post; WELCOME TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25
With this does come any online requirements the platform you play on may have. PlayStation and Xbox do require your platform account to have online access to connect to premium multiplayer/online games. This is typically referred to as PS Plus or Xbox Multiplayer (previously Xbox Gold).
If you are both on PlayStation this is also mentioned on the College Football store page.
While it's been a moment I did check and I don't believe the older NCAA was connected to PS Plus, which started around 2010. That being said a lot has changed since NCAA 14 as have the online requirements for both platforms.
I can understand how this can be frustrating and I'm happy to pass feedback along for the team to be aware of, but currently, if your platform requires an online access system (like PS Plus) we would not be able to circumvent the requirement.
Cheers, and hope this helps!
- @EA_Illium You could have just said "Yes, you require a subscription to use this game fully."
Sorry, but requiring online just to use teambuilder teams in a dynasty is idiotic. It's just a greed thing somewhere along the line. Also, the fact that it was hidden that PS PLUS would be required to use teambuilder in dynasty is just a shady business practice. You all knew that sales would suffer majorly if you let people know this before the game was released. If teambuilder teams aren't allowed in offline dynasty soon, I can see a major class action lawsuit coming, as the requirements for PS PLUS weren't disclosed to players before release of the game.
You can try to explain it away as much as possible, but at the end of the day, it's all about greed. Just another shady practice from EA. Prove you actually care about the players and make teambuilder teams useable in offline dynasty immediately!!

I can use teambuilder teams in "Play Now" mode, but there isn't an option to use teambuilder teams in an offline dynasty mode. So the whole online access has been proven irrelevant in this instance. It's EA, that for some weird reason, requires teambuilder teams to be used only in online dynasties. This is an EA greed decision, flat out, and you can't explain it away.
Are you confirming fraud in advertising?
Yes ncaa 14 was connected to psnetwork, and teambuilder wasnt behind a paywall. you didnt answer the question, the question was why is a promised and advertised feature behind a paywall, that you dont know about until you go there. Thats the kind of crappy practices that get people a class action lawsuit.
- @rufo32 Would love if we could get an update to make this right. I started a dynasty when I had psplus and had no idea it would become inaccessible as soon as my psplus expired. My only option to continue that dynasty is to subscribe again.
