Option pitch is horribly broken(with Feedback)

UPDATE: there’s some sort of collision bug, or hit box bug, where the ball, once pitched by the QB towards the trailing HB, bounces off the defenders helmet even though the defender attacking the QB on the option is CLEARLY NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN. The defender is in no way shape or form close enough to cause such a thing to happen. 

Im pitching the ball to my side and BEHIND ME towards the half back. The incoming defender is  IN FRONT OF ME and is 180 degrees in the other direction from my trailing HB relevant to my position. 

It’s like the defenders hiitbox is 4 times larger than what we see in screen. 

This one more aspect of a broken option. 

Please fix! 

AMEN. It’s killing my fun. I feel like they forget that a lot of people over 12 still play. I’m almost 50. Coached Varsity football for 26 years and I want to run the option like Tony Rice at Notre Dame and Tommy Frazier at Nebraska. They made the under center I veer read happen way faster than before. I used to be able to get a solid read 80 percent of the time. Now it’s guess work.  Had to take it out and run it from pistol strong. Sucks. Don’t know why it wouldn’t be in twins (now called slot for some reason) and double tight I. Loved running option from double tight I bc the front had two TEs to align to AND you could flip it (this year there are basic plays like toss that you can’t  flip in twins. WTF. So I’m frustrated bc I can’t run under center I formation option. But I’m a good sport and I’m running power counter under center and option in pistol strong variants.  I’ve even tried to get used to the new keep mechanic - WISH they’d patch an option to go back to tap for give. BUT the scoop and score pitch I can’t handle.  I hate having two pitches but even when I do it right it’s a scoop and score 15 yards behind pitchman once or twice a game almost if I’m running it more than two times. I’m trying to run an option based offense. I can deal with a bad pitch here and there when I get hit as I pitch.  But this sucks big time. EA please please please Patch the pitch mechanic. That’s number one. But add veer out if I tight and slot under center too if you could. And it would be nice to have the choice of using the old option controls for triple (I know RPOs are what they are). 

Seems like all they update are uniforms etc. I really just want better gameplay. I think most do. And Dynasty mode to work well. That’s all I ask for.

Hopefully the option game gets tuned up for all of us ole timers.

Really looking forward to Running The Wishbone Triple Option 

and The Inside Veer Triple Option(pro-I).

Would love to see some Option plays in I-Form (Tight) from the Multiple O playbook. 

Right. Wish they had wishbone with one wide out too and you could flip plays in it without them being broken.

Has anyone had any improvement to the "speed option or the triple option"?

As for me, im Still having the same issues today as I had on day 1.

Would be nice to have the option to run the " Option ".

Although I love the game i miss NCAA 14 which I still own. The option being broken ruins it for me. The pitch bug is the worst. Fumbling pitches for scoop and score once or twice a game even when I pitch before contact. Tap or hold doesn’t matter. We didn’t need two pitch types anyway.  Option king doesn’t seem to matter or do jack squat. I wish it gave you more time on the give read and made last second pitches work etc.  But it seemingly doesn’t do much. Wish triple option under center was more of a thing in I formation other than pro veer. No load/lead in I formation either. Hard to base an offense off that. But the pitching bug is really killing ne. I’m doing pistol strong to run my option based offense but giving up 7 a game on a bad pitch for no reason is killing me. Wish EA would patch this asap and make option kings actually matter. On a side note I hate that I can’t flip toss to the twins side in twins I but I can flip it in pro and tight stupid. You can flip in pro and motion to twins but if you don’t get the look you like you can’t flip it back. And if you motion first you can’t flip. Dumb. 

I’m doing a little research to see about buying this because I loved the old series and this is gonna keep me from buying it. I also find it pathetic that this thread started in August and nobody from EA even responded with a generic “sending your feedback to the designers” comment. Same old EA.
