Anyone Truly Happy?
Is anyone here truly happy with this game? It seems like the only people who are happy are those on a nostalgic kick and the YouTubers/other sources who are either A) nostalgic or B) bought out by EA...

@jtharris74 How so? I've been playing.
1) Team ratings and rosters are broken. Player progression is just fine, but the talent pool for all teams are way too close together and allows for way too much mediocrity. No teams went undefeated in the game. 5 loss teams were making the playoffs. La Tech made it with 3 losses, Alabama didn't LOL. and Georgia went 6-6. Most teams in the top 10 had 3 losses. I had 1 loss and best record and won the chip.
2) The sliders in the game don't correct the fumbling issues. You can max and min the sliders on fumbling and guys still fumble upon the 1st hit no matter what the setting is even if your ball carry conservative and wrapping up before the hit.
3) Simulated Stats for a dynasty are absolutely broken. I had zero 1000 yard rushers for the entire season. No one gets any picks. But fumbles galore. You can also pass at will by just launching vertical routes. No matter the defensive coverage being used. My games the score were ridiculous for 6 minute Q. Averaging 50-30 for the most part. You can also run at will out of shotgun on just about any defense.
4) Defense is broke see above.
5) Online play is hot garbage. 3 minute Quarters? I had 1 game where I never got the ball the entire game until 30 seconds remaining and lost 14-0. Guy used all the1st and 2nd Quarter to score then onside kicked it at halftime and kept it all through the 4th Q.
6) No custom playbooks, no custom uniforms. Its absolutely maddening and I wouldn't care all that much if dynasty mode wasn't so broken. But even online is just excusable IMO.
Now that being said, its very early and they certainly can fix some of these, but they may just wait until next year to. Some of the sim engine stuff is not small fries. it will take a good amount of time to correct that even if it is correctable.
As of right now I stopped playing and I am going to wait for a couple patches to come to see if anything is addressed.
You are right on a lot of stuff
But I made a custom playbook no problem.
However downloading them from the shared area and getting them into the game that's another story, ive downloaded several to and none of them appear in my game at all to use.Im not getting that many fumbles but INTs galore. My QB is decent its like the defense know where the ball is and its a pick.
Overtime is broken. I have had to call a time out to get the plays to show on the screen otherwise i would have had a penalty. Doesnt happen every time but a lot.
Seems like this game likes Overtime too. The opposition becomes Ohio State and rally's to tie the game in order to force OT every time even tho the opposition isnt a good team.
The scores in the games are insane. I feel like I should be playing 3 minute quarters to get a game thats 14-7. The defense basically sucks at least on small teams. I havent played a powerhouse yet.

I agree with you about the cpu secondary. I have thrown more picks in this game in 2 days than I have in all the time i have been playing football games. make sure your not on the coahces suggestion for plays. Switch to formations. Have you ran to the CPU running no huddle the whole game?
