Re: College Football 25 -Create a Player-

Thanks for this- I understand the NIL player restrictions ..I think anyway..but the Create a Player is baffling to me!

So in Road to Glory you are ALLOWED create a fictional dude and go through a career- but it’s not ALLOWED to Create a fictional player in Dynasty offline?
A fictional character is a fictional character- but it seems EA has allowed it only for Road to Glory! 

I’m not into driving cars and talking on a cell phone Road to Glory is not for me.
I’m a dinosaur ..I like a broadcast camera view as we see on Sunday-I like to create teams and coach only- that’s not going to happen so I hope super sim is allowed and if neither is an option then I’ll just buy Madden 25…I also see with these constrictions a lot of white cornerbacks wearing the the number 70 or multiple like numbers on your team ..strange 

Soooo many good things about this game- Coach mode - Presentation- ect and then they flub it up with the edit and create player thing…still hoping -when will EA get it totally right ..lol

They’ve got to make a patch to allow us to at least change the numbers in offline dynasties. Players change numbers every season. You think a freshman  WR who has #17 is still going to have that number their senior year? No way. I’ve also noticed for schools that allow a player on offense and defense to have the same number, if you make any edits to this player (say with #2), the other player with that same number will automatically have their jersey number changed. Had a CB in my dynasty change from #2 to #36 lol

Game needs a lot of work..it’s all relative on what you like of course. I was looking for more of a Ncaa 14 experience with better graphics-Not so-

I can’t edit rosters which is a big deal for me- If you want to take the time and find the few fictional players on all the rosters then you can edit names - sometime numbers and of course position and attribute. That will need to be done before entering Dynasty.

I have always edited my rosters for ratings globally especially speed - this game is way too fast - without slowing it down you don’t get realistic footplanting tackling ect in my opinion. But I’m Unable to do that.

Game physics are wacky, blocking logic is odd - defenders take strange angles - strange quirks and body movement when tackling- just odd.

Without the ability to edit names - numbers- attributes and positions -teams have and will have like numbers or running backs with the #65 ect - This I believe may be patched not sure - but the Game is not for me.

Never thought I would say this but can’t wait for Madden 25 even with their limited editing and poor creative freedom it will still be better than College 25 IMO. Perhaps patches will fix some things it’s still early. I just thought this game would be way ahead of Madden in player movement physics - customization-it’s not - not now anyway.

I got the preorder yesterday and I can confirm that create a player is only available on RTG.  Huge let down on EA’s part.  I’m old school as well.  I wanted to create my players and enjoy dynasty offline like on madden’s franchise mode.  Here’s hoping EA makes an update where they add this feature back.  If not,  madden will have to do. 😔

As far as player editing is concerned NCAA 14 Revamped, a ten yr old game, is still a better option. LOL. Wild.

Man I sure hope you are right. But at the moment it doesn’t seem like that’s the case lol… maybe they can patch that in. 

I was expecting the future of gaming, but now it feels like the Stone Age. You can't edit, so it takes away our chance to make it our world in gaming 

i agree i used create a prospect in the games i understand the nil thig but these guys would be totally fiction they need to return this to the game, also add back fcs teams and spring drills
