Completely agreed! What's the point of even having custom pb's in the game if you can only use them against the CPU and online dynasty. For me, my favorite part of these football games is designing my own scheme that I'm comfortable with, suited to the personnel of my favorite teams and competing online with them. Dynasty takes too much management and the pool of players to play against is limited. I want to jump into a match without all the extra overhead and enjoy playing my style.

Moreover, if their goal is to prevent a Meta, well, they got another thing coming. A meta will always form, but now it will be worse because it will form around everyone playing with the same teams. If they want to be consistent with their choice to limit playbook options for more authenticity and competitiveness, the logic follows that they ought to go a step further and limit play calling to coaching suggestions only.

I'm okay with them keeping the road to the CFP the way it is as long as they offer us an alternative way to play online H2H where we can use custom playbooks. My suggestion is a H2H mode linked to dynasty where we can export our dynasty team.

So you CAN add your CUSTOM playbook in online dynasty. You won't be able to change it permanently in your coaching scheme, you just have to do it in the pre-game lobby (the place where you can change your jerseys) before every game. Annoying that you have to do it every time, but at least you can. I attached a photo of when you do it in case you don't know what I'm talking about.
