- Worst choice ever in making NCAA 25 not available on PC.
I was fully ready to subscribe to EA Play to play this on PC since I've waited 10 years for this game. Now I wont be buying any EA games from now on. Absolute garbage decision to just act like a huge part of your player base does not exist and to assume they will shell out $500 for a console and another $70 for the game AND an online subscription.
@hydra6it's most likely due to the fact that modding communites are on PC and they don't want them to figure out how to bypass the opted out player barrier, aswell as EACFB25 could a test for demand of the game series

for pc users hoping Ea sports college football 25 will come to Ea sports college football well I have bad news for you, matt brown said Ea told him there is no immediate plans to put Ea sports college football on pc and it won't be on next year's version, don't look for it at least until after the 2027 season. the main reason is the modding communities and they have to figure out how to block them
- KWRussell2 years agoRising Traveler@OCEANBREATHES That’s not what Brown said. First of all, from his newsletter: “So let me preface this statement with this. No member of the EA Sports communication team has, either in a prepared statement or on deep background, confirmed any explanation for why the game is not being released on PC at launch. I have asked, and I will likely continue to ask, but officially, I have no response.”
After that, Brown says that he asked around and got the usual “Gee, porting to PC is so hard!” narrative with nothing else to back up Tiburon in particular. Nothing specific about modding.
But the silence is our real answer. They don’t think they should dignify us with a response. - OCEANBREATHES2 years agoNew Traveler
yes, he did, it wasn't on his newsletter, he did an interview on YouTube, and he said it there and it was recently after his newsletter, no way I would made this up I don't care either way just passing on news I heard.
- antpboy122 years agoSeasoned Veteran@mjk417 Which is Bull. The modding community dosent even go online. We are strictly offline players.

They just might as well come out and say we want to keep consoles relevant. They know if they release for PC it will take a large consuming market form Sony and Microsoft.
It doesn't really have anything to do with modders. There is a robust community who have been trying for years to mod and fix Madden, but without access to the source code, all they can really do is swap out things like the type of handoff it is, how the defense reacts to a particular play, etc.
EA already knows how to keep people out. They were either:
A. Lazy
B. Paid by Microsoft and Sony for exclusive rights

@Th3RealSpaceTruth 💯 👍 Both A and B.

modding communities exist on console too. while they are more rare, they still exist.
I love playing NCAA football but I don't have a PS or XBOX, I'm a PC player of EA games and to not have NCAA 14 for PC is crap. My Xbox Series S went to my son in the Army and I bought a $3000 gaming computer because I can play NFL on it but I can't play NCAA and that is BS

I feel you, but the more I am finding out about the lack of customization in this game it's down right ridiculous. Which makes me think this is the reason they aren't releasing on PC.
I have waited 10 plus years. I have no problem sitting out till EA comes to it's senses.
Don’t you work for EA? Seems strange that EA doesn’t know what they are doing.
Since nobody else will say it I will. * YOU
