The kinda patch we need to fix this game is going to take a while. That's no excuse for EA, but at the same time I think we can all see that there is just too much not right with this game. I would have no problem if EA just came out and said yes the game very much has issues as of right now and by such and such date will try and address these main issues. Then move on to the next set and so on and so on. Point is this game may not be fixed fixed until half way through the season. Its just where we're at right now. Some sort of compensation should be in order for this mess. Either discount next years game or this years madden or something. They just can't let this ride or it will hurt their product on next years release.
We had a 10 year gap. The people that was making game then are not the same ones now and that experience and process has been lost and scrambled for the most part. What we have is the result of that. I can understand that to a point, but at the same time they need to meet the fan base half way on this. Game is broke right now.
I just hate that we have to wait until the end of August to get the next patch (and we don't even know if that patch will fix the issues we are experiencing with the game).
- @jtharris74 Unfortunately, its not going to get any better. They did not even attempt to fix some of the issues in dynasty. Real nasty looking development team, and phony testers who rushed this game out. discount is something EA seems to hate unless game is out of season and near the end of life cycle.
Maybe next year, but prospects of EA doing anything right is pretty damn grim.

I don't get why anyone would be asking for a discount on next year's game. If they can't get this one into a usable state within a reasonable amount of time (which their bug/fix/feature list is probably a mile long and I'm not expecting things fixed overnight, but some communication/acknowledgement would be appreciated), I sure as hell wouldn't be giving them even more money. Frankly, the only good-faith option is allowing refunds by those that want them, but that's more up to the retailer (if physical) or etailer (xbox/playstation), which if so, good luck. But let's just say there's a reason I still only buy physical copies of games [and still haven't purchased this one]. I've learned over a decade ago to not buy games at launch and to certainly never pre-order anything.
I completely agree they had a workable template (14) and boo-boo’d all over it
the coaching carousel is broke and it was trash from the jump I should be able to pick ANY HC job that shows up when I have won multiple championships but no there’s always some in game reason that the game won’t let me pick the team ..ie ( down grade or lateral move…ect)
then since the patch my OL can’t stop a runny nose let alone block someone in the run game
or the 3-5 ints the QB throws now cuz the DBs are jumping the curl rt or running into the WR and taking the ball from them in a clear PI no call
but you know as well as I do not only will ea continue to put out trash without a suitable competition or the fact that EA fanboys will continue to buy the game strictly for the cash cow of the ultimate team crap until then we can only hope for EA to listen to the mass and fix what needs to be fixed and don’t MADDEN this game
