I really like the new road to CFP game mode, but it’s really disappointing that we are stuck with the basic uniforms, game time, weather, and team specific playbooks. Do the developers plan to add more options to the game mode (including customs playbooks)? Unless those features are added, road to CFP will remain inferior to madden’s online H2H, even though it has potential to be great.
I agree also. You guys just did a massive patch to the game today, and yet almost no issues in road to cfp were addressed. They certainly did not address the playbook issue, about which i've seen at least 10 different posts by other people on this matter. Makes me think that EA plans to not do a damn thing about this.
They don't even have the team specific playbooks done correctly. I have absolutely no idea how you tie together custom playbooks to people cheesing? That is utter nonsense.
The majority of teams do not have a traditional scheme. EA’s mantra is that every school is someone’s favorite team. If I don’t like my favorite team’s playbook, then why should I be stuck with it?
Regarding cheese, there is a likelihood that cheesers will all start using the same elite team because of the playbook (e.g., Alabama). It is NOT a compelling reason to disallow custom playbooks.
Nonsense. The ONLY way to take a below avg team and compete with the Alabamas and Georgias of the world is to have your custom playbook. It’s not just cheese plays, it’s basic plays that ppl will use. Now NO ONE is using below avg teams because the playbooks are so bad and unfamiliar.Hopefully they fix it soon.
I just want an answer on whether or not they are going to intgrate the ability for custom playbooks for H2H play or not. Because if not im done with this game.
Most ppl that wants custom playbooks aren’t guys that play online H2H hardcore. Because if you were you would understand that Bama has ENOUGH CHEESE on their team in their aura and definitely in their playbook to want to give them every cheese play from every playbook. No EA please don’t cave to this demand. Please let them go to Madden.
