I have heard the rumors of a larger title update coming within the next week or so and it better be a good one. The gameplay is so bad, between the passing, offensive line, defending, tackling, it’s beyond unplayable at this point. I love this franchise. Been playing since NCAA 03 and I still keep my 360 for 14 when I’m missing it. Dynasty was stripped to the bare bones and it’s AGAIN another Ultimate Team grift for microtransactions from EA. Majority of this community wanted a Dynasty mode like the ones we are used to enjoying and it’s not clear we’ll ever get these bugs fixed and be able to enjoy Dynasty again. I don’t want to be this negative but will EA ever give us a glimpse as to what the plan is here or if they even plan on addressing Dynasty? I can’t think that I’m alone in all of this.

Companies and employees have become too focused on making money to really care about quality. This is not a game that requires an annual release anymore and they set it up to do what they always did. If you go back to the beginning of the game they always have wanted to add improvements and fixes with each release rather than releasing the best game they could. None of the sports games require a new game annually. They require an expansion or update each year for the rosters. That would not be nearly as profitable though so they have to be able to sell something new each year. The sad part is they would likely make more money by releasing the best game they could achieve. It is pretty simple to give all the features the boards are clamoring for and then require an expansion each year for new rosters, etc. People would absolutely pay for that. People would absolutely pay for accurate coaches to be included as an add on. People would pay for additional roster spots, medical redshirts, etc. If you make the best game then the opportunities to make money will be there. Keep making bugged and limited games then people will keep buying it. It is the whole reason this should not be an exclusive license on any sports game.

By having exclusive rights to these sports they can honestly do what they want for the most part or at least it seems like that. In my eyes the best way to push productivity is to have competition and give people the choice between games they want to play. Think back to when EA made NBA and then 2k came along. People had the choice of choosing game they wanted to play, ultimately 2k won out. Now if you ask me, 2k has turned into the same repetitive crap year after year just like the rest of these sports titles. Competition drives productivity, in most cases if there is no other choice, most people will stick to playing this game simply because they love college football and will just deal with its crappiness.

This game will NEVER BE FIXED. The Frostbite engine that this game is ported to is completely broken, and there are ZERO developers on the CFB team that know how to fix it. They knew of this problem when they delayed the release of this game for over a year, and STILL released this 40% completed nonsense.DEMAND MASS REFUNDS FROM EA. DO NOT ACCEPT A 40% COMPLETED GAME THAT COST US $100. EA SPORTS IS DEAD.

This series of game (NCAA) was my favorite game of all time. Loved this game as NCAA. I can live with most of this game but I’m so frustrated with the lack of fob offers in dynasty. I’m hoping they fix it with the update.

@BigCastle00 While 2K does get repetitive, the depth of their career modes and dynasties are much better than what this game offered. I also play the FIFA franchise or what was FIFA until EA lost the license (go figure), and it was also turned into an Utlimate Team grift. I will never touch that game mode.

@Sgoforth5 All I want, is schedules that work, ability to play whatever dynasty game I want, editing players, rankings to work, and gameplay that is tolerable. I know a tall ask for EA. It will be another disappointing update I’m sure. I’m trying not to get my hopes up. $100 down the drain.

@BlueIsTheColor70 I would like to think that they’ve just been silently taking notes of everyone’s issues. However, my faith in that thought was lost when they came out with the first big update and it was a lot of cosmetic fixes, sound fixes, and some minor things in dynasty that didn’t seem to satisfy the masses. What is concerning is this: are there only a “few” of us who have games that happen to be duds? Is that even possible? Because I know the issues I have with the game make it unplayable, and not even fun to turn on. It’s odd to me that no more people are making noise about it than the few of us that I keep seeing comment and post on this. Could it be that it’s a lot of much younger players who are more wrapped up in the “style” of the game than actual gameplay? Why do we keep seeing more of the type of complaints like “we need to be able to change the socks” or “we need better music, I’m tired of hearing Mo Bamba 1,000 times a game” and while I understand that last one, I don’t even notice those things because I’m having to look at the instant replay after every single play just to see how mistakes happened. Unfortunately, I foresee the big title update to be more of the same. “Fixed vague/unnecessary issue in Ultimate Team” “made it possible to edit socks” etc. In regards to the Ultimate Team issue: maybe I’m showing age here, but I don’t fully understand what it even is. I never have. I tried this one out and it’s so busy and confusing that I have no earthly idea what I was doing. I’ve always bought these games to play dynasty mode, road to glory, and to just play rivalries, I did like the all time teams, and the classic teams they used to have, though.

@TideFan1892 Yup, and I know they consulted the revamped team when making the game and they landed on “let’s push UT as hard as we can.” Why is it so difficult to understand we wanted a fully stacked dynasty mode? I will not buy this again if it remains the way it is.

@Lathius I guarantee you they have record sales for this game and are swimming in cash. Moving developers onto others projects and leaving us like dust in the wind. The money is made and the small portion of UT players will continue to spend the cash. It’s sad but I guess that’s where we are now.
