Why is it that in Dynasty, players acquired from the Transfer Portal don't develop in the offseason like the rest of the returning college football players on the roster? It kind of defeats the purpose of acquiring players via the portal that are supposed to be impact players or immediate upgrades because they often get overtaken by "lesser" players on the roster after the offseason training goes through.
This is a problem I hope they fix as it makes no sense. I get from a coding standpoint the way the transfer portal works is like an incoming freshman but it shouldn’t work that way. Transfer players should progress. I hope in the next big patch this is addressed as well as the player progression system overall. It’s weird to me that a guy that had over a 1,000 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns didn’t progress because he transferred schools. Also, all the progression is way out of whack. I think it should be based more on production than randomness and skill caps. All that being said I do kinda enjoy the skill caps even if it is funny seeing an 83 overall Heisman not improve because it’s his cap.
