Hello, I have been playing EA NCAA College Football game from the very beginning since 1999. I always played with a group of friends and we looked forward every year to putting in the college football players after doing research on new recruits, etc. We then waited 10 years with no game due to NIL stipulations. We are so very disappointed that we cannot edit player ratings and add players. Tennessee just recruited two five star players. If you do not allow diehard college football gamers next year to edit the ratings, I know I won't and many others won't ever buy the game again. You can edit Madden ratings. Your game was not worth waiting 10 years for. You can edit and add players in MLB and NBA rosters. To win back the fans quickly you show allow the editing of player ratings and adding players immediately. You will lose a ton of die hard fans. At this point, honestly, I will not buy the game next year - very disappointing. What diehard fans do is just creat a roster of top NCAA players on Madden and play that way. True die hard fans will remember how it was before where you could change everything including ratings and add players. They're going to be so pissed off by the time after the football season. They're not going to buy it months ahead of when it's supposed to come out. They will make their decisions over the next 4 months. I won't get it if they don't change it.

@ILove_Laederal No the issue was EA was very obviously making the players themselves and using it to sell the game without compensating the players. It had nothing to do with people editing the rosters after the fact. I have no idea where people have convinced themselves it was players editing their own rosters

I have to admit that I find the editing numbers/ratings issue being the most complained about thing to be quite confusing to me. If EA made it so we could do that, it still wouldnt be a good game. The on field experience sucks that much. No audibles saving, tap and tap kicking, formation subs, cant hot route out of play action, the scoreboard still disappears during super sim sometimes...yet I constantly see editing ratings as the number one complaint. Am I just missing something here?

From The Sims 1-4 to Every College Football Game to Most Madden games, I'm done with EA. As much as I enjoy playing and creating The Sims 4, I'll continue to not buy another game or expansion pack from EA. These past few weeks, I've been playing a game that has been out for almost 13 years. Skyrim without mods is better than anything EA has ever put out. If not for the Mods in The Sims, that game would be unplayable as well. They screwed that game up as well. I was supporting about 10 different modders of The Sims 4 but thanks to EA and their B.S. they quit getting my support as well. EA needs to seriously fix this game. I understand the NIL B.S. a little but the computer-generated players have nothing to do with NIL. Unable to edit your own recruits' ratings and numbers is some garbage. My Arkansas helmets hasn't been fixed yet, an FCS QB with a speed rating of 68 shouldn't be out running DB's with 93 plus speed rating. Thanks to my temper that play cost me a $2000 TV. Those sliders are useless. The graphics are pretty good but the game itself needs a lot of work. The tackling is a darn joke. I'm not a big fan of the new kicking meter as well, there should be a classic option like the passing. I've missed 20-yard FG's and extra points on a consistent basis. Madden 25 (2025 version) will not be bought this year from me as well.

The kicking meter is rough, I have disliked it from the first time I tried a long fg the first day. Agree completely. This game is trash but at least it looks pretty 😂

Did you ever play the previous college football games from previous years when you compare those to college football? 25, there's no comparison. They were much better

@Bjkam1208 It literally is, EA was sued because they weren’t paying players for their likeness and allowing people playing the game to edit the real life players however they liked. The NCAA doesn’t have the players union like the NFL, EA cant just put real life people into the game without compensating them someway, which they are doing now. You can dislike the game for gameplay reasons but saying you don’t like it because you can’t change a real persons overall or likeness is BS

If that was the case why isn’t 2k being sued every year for fans creating college draft classes with real players….. or MLB the show doing the same thing? It is 100 percent because EA created the exact likeness of every player and just made them QB#11, HB#4, WR#2, etc. Again, if this was the case road to glory this year would also cause them to be sued. We can create any future high school kid or even college player who opted out… this defense of EA putting out a crap product is getting old. They are completely off the hook when users do the editing. If they are that worried keep it where we can’t upload rosters for download. Make online dynasty uneditable. No one is going to know what I do or don’t do in my offline dynasty. Regardless those precautions aren’t needed but if we have start there then do it.
