I won the Heisman with a DE and had over 40 sacks. Obviously best defensive lineman trophy as well and didn't even make 2nd team AA. The randomness and nonsensical BS make this one of the glitchiest games I've ever played. And I played Diablo 4 for over 900 hours in the last year. Lol
If you actually take a closer look, I think it’s based off of overall ratings which is a very lazy and poor take from EA
- @ncballer5 Yeah it should honestly be a balance between overall and stats, maybe a modifier where stronger OVR ranks you higher bc you get more attention. You don't get to be an all American at WR just because your scheme supports 65 short passes a game and so you get 130 catches for 1100 yards and 10 TDs. Meanwhile a stud WR who gets double teamed all the time produces 65 catches for 990 yards and 12 TDs. Similarly a DT in the SEC getting double teamed still causing havoc may have lower stats than a DT at WMU but that doesn't mean the WMU DT is more deserving of the award. Stats certainly should play a factor but OVR and honestly Conference Prestige to some extent should also weigh into this.
