Are Sliders Broken?
I maxed out Player Offense and put CPU D to all 0s on Heisman. It's having ZERO effect as I have more fumbles and interceptions and overthrows. It's like certain teams are predetermined to have their games play out a certain way.

more likely that heisman is the issue. All american will give more "fair" results ratings wise.
- @Dirty_Smeegs_33 It was the same on AA. It was still rough on varsity. Went to freshman and couldnt be stopped. QB still had tons of overthrows at 100 slider.
It's the game's logic system(? dunno the term I'm looking for) I believe. QB had 7 interceptions, 3 sacks, and 75% completion rate during the season but suddenly couldnt complete passes to wide open receivers in the playoffs. And when he did, even doing a safe catch led to drops. In my experience the sliders work until the scripting takes over. I call it MAGIC mode. It happens on both defense and offense but is more noticeable when playing defense. When it kicks in there is nothing you can do but wait it out. Rarely happens on Freshmen level but happens more often and last longer as you go up in levels.
This goes back to the older NCAA games and I believe Madden but not sure as I gave up on Madan years ago. Why do they do this? Not sure but I think it is because it is much easier, and cheaper, for them use scripting then to make the AI smarter as you move up in difficulty.
Magic mode huh? I need to remember that because it's much more polite than the words I have been using.😁
