EA, don't screw around. You have a great game. We know all about the NIL crap. But there is NO REASON why we can't make edits (including RATINGS) to incoming recruits in dynasty mode. I along with many others demand that this be put in the game, or you will have people demanding refunds and/or canceling EA Play. Your choice.

LOL They are already ticking people off with this game and it hasn't been out for 10 years. Unreal this Company.
- aenima69692 years agoRising Veteran@DANGERGOOSE1 Everything is greyed out. Its like they have it setup to be able to edit attributes etc, but wont allow us to do it even on made up players that they made to fill the roster. I believe we should be able to change recruits info either for the better or worse. Its our game we should be able to play it as we wish, so if we want all 99s, and play on the hardest setting then so be it, if we want all 50s then so be it.

@aenima6969 agreed
@8lr31kgu1q8f exactly, no reason to not have customization features in an offline dynasty

- 2 years ago@8lr31kgu1q8f If you put a feature in that allows this in the future please make sure it can be disabled for those who don't want players to be able to make these changes.

I fail to see the issue. If you're offline editing, who gives a care about what someone else is editing offline?
- DANGERGOOSE12 years agoSeasoned Veteran@TGCRequiem11 I mean based on the dynasty setup screen that's what it's supposed to be like. The 3 options are 1) anyone can edit their own player ratings and commissioner can edit all player ratings, 2) only commissioner can edit ratings, and 3) no one can edit ratings. If this actually worked as stated, then everything would be fine.
- 2 years ago@DANGERGOOSE1 I don't even care about online. I literally just want to be able to do it offline 🤣
- 2 years ago@8lr31kgu1q8f If there’s a legal question, they NEED to consult lawyers. Ask a court. Get this * settled and fix this game. Or just go back to generic rosters and we can do it ourselves. Player names don’t matter a bit to me.
- 2 years ago@BigGreek2011 lol what's the question going to be, can we allow our gamers to edit the abilities of Joe Blow and Jack Sparrow on the games??
- LanKardiff2 years agoNew Vanguard
All they need to do is tag NIL players so they cant be edited. All other non NIL or created players should be open for editing. Do they not have the expertise to program that sort of thing?
So far the score is as follows:
NCAA 14 Revamped - 1
EA CFB 25 - 0

Agree 100% we can’t even change jersey numbers! Cmon man my WRs out here with 34 on smh. We should get full customization with incoming recruits.

@8lr31kgu1q8f I agree completely
@noarmsduck Yeah I wish I didn’t pre order considering how this turned out

One of the best features of Madden is in franchise mode to be able to customize all your players on your team as well as customize the draft class. It is the main reason I buy It over other football games out there. One of the best features of the last college football game released in 2013 was in dynasty mote the ability to customize your team including adjusting the ratings for any player on your team. Also the ability to create your own recruits before generating a recruiting class was so cool. Because of those features tat game is still being played today even after a decade as past since it's release. Why were these features that made that version so popular even after all these years not included? I was so excited when it was announced that EA was bringing the college football franchise back But the lack of these features in the game make it a big disappointment. Unless they fix this I don't really want to play it any more. Probably just going to go back to playing NCAA Football 2014. Game play is older but the in game features on dynasty are still better.

I know it's offline mode so doesn't matter to others but I don't get why you would want to edit player ratings? Makes the Recruitment process completely redundant.
Why spend hours immersing yourself in the game to only just edit the players yourself?
May as well just quickly get a tonne of 1 stars to commit and make them what you want and when you do win the bowl games what satisfaction is there?
I'm in the minority I suppose so ignore I'm just a grumpy old man lol!

I think the big issue is that EA has consistently marketed this as a game for the community that kept it alive - whether it be through NCAA 14 / College Football Revamped, or just general hope it would come out again. My hope was that EA / This Dev Team would be more responsive at the very least. Doing nothing is the worst communication method.
They have brought back a good deal of items, and I’m genuinely glad to have a game back BUT anyone setting aside their unbridled excitement has to see there are things that need fixing.
This is an easy fix that is within their power to do, which is why it infuriates folks. The community is going to be hard, but it’s because we know it can be better and it isn’t. Editing at least gives players a bit more freedom, which is a sign of good faith.

I agree completely, this was one of the best things about NCAA 14, you could make up for the issues in recruiting, or ease the pain in rebuilding a small school that has a super slow team. Editing player ratings truly made offline dynasty mode fun! You must bring back the ability to edit ratings, even if it's just to recruited players and not NIL guys!

Yeah it’s not going away any time soon. I’ve seen folks on the ncaa football reddit page talking about the issue as well, one guy even linked this or another thread around here

I'd be ok with not being able to edit the player ratings but I'd also like to have the option to if I wanted to in my Offline Sandbox of a dynasty.....but the fact that I can't change numbers or face/skin tone is crazy to me given all the options you have in RTG....I have 2 freshman QB's (1 is #66 and the other is #83), I also have a white RB *(not that there's anything wrong with that)* that has a # in the 50's.....to me that kills the immersion that I thought I was going to have in my Offline Dynasty.
