I know this argument and thread have considered the rationale for not being able to edit NIL players, which I partially agree with. I get that we shouldn’t be able to edit their face, height, weight, and build, but the number part doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. In real life, there are freshmen WRs out there right now with numbers 80-89 who will very likely have a 0-9 number next year. But in dynasty, they’re stuck with that number their entire career? Meanwhile, some random position autogenerated recruit will come in and grab #1 and potentially ride the bench for four years? I think this leads to the main question of this entire thread: if we’re playing an offline dynasty, then who cares what we do? I get it, you don’t want to get sued, but wasn’t it the roster sharing that got you in trouble the first time? Not because some random Joe changed Tank Hawkins’ number from 10 to 1 in his offline dynasty?
