God that is awful… sorry for you bud. Yea without the ability to customize we can’t correct these ratings blunders/glitches. It makes it unplayable for me.
I had one guy completely disappear from my roster when I changed his position on defense. How am I supposed to make a 5-star prospect I spent time recruiting reappear?
All those folks that say editing ratings is just a nice to have can miss me with that bs.
I understand that editing players might be a complicated fix (ratings, numbers, appearance…), and there might be way more to it than we know. I appreciate that a moderator has responded and let us know that we’re being heard, and just because we don’t hear anything back, that doesn’t mean we’re being ignored. I also realize that it isn’t practical to directly respond to every complaint or suggestion.
However, editing Dynasty players seems (to me, at least) to be the biggest issue on these boards. Could we at least know if there is any feedback from the dev team on this issue? Is editing players even something we can hope for? I’ve really enjoyed the game, but not being able to edit my team really gets tiresome. After the NIL players have graduated, Dynasty becomes very frustrating. I wish so much that it felt like a sandbox. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but I’m probably about done playing until there’s a way to edit generic players.

It's very frustrating, and I keep seeing content creators who had early access to the game like Bordeaux keep saying it's NIL related, but we don't care for changing the names of generated players, we don't care for necessarily changing their skin tones (CFB Revamped figured out how to create recruits for the game that match their positions, EA can too), we just don't want our 5 star QB coming in and being #21 or #19 for his whole career. We aren't asking for too much, I'm bigger on # changes for generated recruits than player ratings and for the love of everything holy bring back the old training results screen so we know how much a player improved. Again, CFB revamped even had it so if your team had a bad year some of your players ratings went down.

Trying to stay consistent here on my daily bump until an actual answer is given.

I get what everyone is saying about real player NIL and the legalities of that but I can literally go and edit the fake WR named "Darnell Lee" for FSU and change it to one of the real players who didn't opt in. Now of course I can't edit the jersey number or face but I can match his measurements and equipment. To me that shouldn't be allowed if they are worried about NIL implications. Who cares if I change Major Smoker, Jose Burrow, or Legend Chocolatey's number or anything else for that matter. Just dumb. @EA_Kent

I agree wholeheartedly. The lack of editing, customization or flat out creating players is a real "Dealbreaker" for me (pun intended). I started a dynasty with my Wolverines like 20mins ago and then I came to the forums just to see if anything new had been fixed or found. I found out that the game doesn't regularly schedule the UofM vs. osU game regularly. You have to create divisions or something like that. So I can't edit players but I also have to intervene with the conference makeup just to get the schedule to function right...
In that very same dynasty file before I came to the forums I went to setup my recruiting board. I found that 22 of the top 50 players at both RB and WR combined (including the ones listed as athletes) were white or those in between faces that look middle eastern (the hair is what makes me think this). That's so excessive, and it's really crazy that I can't do anything about it.
Whatever the case I'm just going to can the game again. I'm really close to Uninstalling it. I have such little confidence that they will fix this games main issues that it just isn't worth it.
- 1 year ago@jfeev508 EA doesn’t fool me and neither should they be able to fool anyone else in the community. Ea is holding out on the Edit/Customization option for DynastyMode until right before Maximum Football releases a date for their college football game which 100% Customization is in our control. Remember I said this.
