@bjhill21I really don't believe it has anything to do with NIL. I think it's just EA being lazy and releasing a half done product. I haven't touched this game in about two weeks. I can't even run an I-Formation option based offense because I-Form Pro is the only I-Form set that has any option plays in it. Hopefully they're paying attention to this thread and make the changes we've been asking for because this game is a major letdown for me.
Don't hold your breath for more I form option offense sets. Since the game doesn't have classic teams it won't have old playbooks that don't incorporate how the game is played today.
- LCPLOC521 year agoSeasoned Scout@jfeev508 I've learned to not expect anything when it comes EA. Too many limitations is the main issue with this game. I think they were being lazy because the option only appears in I-Pro and none of the other sets. Gamers should be able to choose if they'd want to build a dynasty based on running an I-Option attack like the old Nebraska teams, or if we'd like to run a true throwback offense like the Wishbone. It all comes back to lack of customization. I'd be happy with them adding player editing and more option plays to the other I- Form sets that are already in the game.

Submitted refund request to AMEX this morning. They have been very good to work with in the past with other merchants that have failed to deliver on products or services that were not as advertised or unacceptable. Refund through Playstation.com was not an option since I was a preorder and the game had already been downloaded.

My refund request with AMEX order via Playstation was approved this morning. It might change once / if Sony protests. Hope that others who try are also successful. Just sad to see the return of this game flop so terribly.

I tried via Microsoft but was rejected. Contemplated doing a charge back on my card but sounds like Microsoft suspends accounts that do charge backs so I'm just sucking it up. Keep us updated.

I haven’t even bothered trying to get a refund. It’s no use. Once you install and play the game, that’s it.
Sometimes you pay for a dud. And make no mistake, this is a major dud. It happens. And even worse, I preordered simply based off of hype and nostalgia. Shame on me for thinking EA would actually make a game on par of the quality of something like the old NCAA games.

@btmnyj811 Haven’t had much like on my refund either. In same boat as you. Oh well enjoy your one time purchase from me EA as I’m sure you will get from many others. The saddest part is if the dev team would have relayed solid updates to community managers I’d stuck it out in the long term with them, but this has proven to me where they stand on customer service. Who knows maybe they took my advice on another post and cleaned house on the dev team from this dumpster fire release and patch. Either way someone at the highest level should be coming forward owning this. If my organization put this bad of product or service out I would be the first line of direct communication of a plan of action to fix things. With EA they hide in the background like nothing is wrong and give cryptic messages about things to come only to release another crap game later.

Wow. They ain't gonna respond anymore huh? It's been a month since release, the one patch broke even more things, aren't addressing any of the non existent features or replying to these giant threads. Why can't the developers themselves read and reply?
Probably cuz they don't care.

Yup, feels like they’re hiding until the mob leaves

Extremely disheartening, yet completely and utterly on brand for EA

@JayB12424you’re 100 percent correct. Going dead silent to hide out until everyone moves on with life. Expecting us to all forget when Madden comes out and NCAA next year. Until EA is impacted by lack of purchase from us across multiple products no changes will take place. It’s a shame. I expected this to fall short with it being an EA game, but my God I couldn’t have ever dreamed it would be this bad. Release with Dynasty being 1/10th of what it used to be, and then releasing a patch that broke more things than it corrected and to top it off radio silence. Wild…. Honestly it’s disrespectful to me as a consumer…

They don't care. They have our money, so nothing else matters to them.

Absolute dumpster fire of a developer.

Requesting some updates from the EA team… anything that will give us hope the devs are listening / willing to fix this? 293 comments (after some were removed) and still nothing to date.

I will never carry water for EA or any other game publisher ever. However as much as very many of us and at least all of us in these forums are disappointed with this game (and many others from EA over the years) I really don't know why anyone actually expects them to come here and answer any of our questions. You have to consider there are probably 100s of threads across the internet or a vast number of public engagement they're getting for this game. The moderators and even the devs probably don't know how to fix the issues we want fixed and definitely don't know what the timeline is on if and when they can fix them.
Now I agree as a consumer this is 100% poor customer care. The thing is almost all of their games suck in some way shape or form and people keep buying them and, in turn keep coming here to complain about them. They've made their money off of us and I hate to say it but we likely all took an L here.
The two paths I see here for this game (there are more but these are the two I want to use as an example) are send out tweets saying what I stated above - they don't know how to fix the game or any plausible idea when the fix will happen. Or keep your mouth shut, try your hardest to fix the easiest issues you can and don't over promise and under deliver like you did with the game in the first place. Then whatever you do fix release the patch with patch notes, act like it was a major game changer (even though they "fixed" things most people didn't even know were issues) and then go dead silent again when it's not recieved well. It's obvious the second path is what they've taken. It's just better to be publicly viewed as incompetent by people in forums or in YouTube videos or even by the athletes that appear in your products, then it is to come out and tell the public that you aren't capable of fixing your product and satisfying your customer.
If any of you in this thread have ever waited for a roster creator/editor on Operation Sports to release their arduous/laborious work, you'll know how crazy people can get when they think something is going to release on a certain date and then it doesnt. Imagine that being millions of people and for something they paid for and had expectations for from the actual company, not just people who do it for the community at large.
The best thing to do is to come here to rant and vent amongst others like yourself. I don't think they have checked this thread since they posted about the update. A few weeks ago one of the moderators removed all of the bump post and reiterated the guidelines. They aren't even doing that now.
