Also does anyone know when to expect the whole numbers randomly changing for IRL players after a recruit comes onto the team is being fixed? Absolutely ruined my immersion and clearly eliminates the whole NIL reasoning on not being able to change numbers. D’Angelo Ponds for Indiana wears 5, a walk on punter gets 5, he changes to 27. And this is a player who literally has NIL merch.

There’s a reddit thread on this very subject that seems to be gaining some traction….. I’m telling ya, the longer this game is out, more and more people are gonna grow frustrated with how handcuffed we are in terms of player customization
Good!
This issue needs to be addressed by EA. Everyone needs to be vocal until we get it fixed.

Yeah. And If it's supposed to be our own sandbox in offline we should be able to edit ANY players ratings to make it our own no matter if they are NIL or not. No player in real life will know we edited their rating in our OFFLINE dynasty. It is far from a sandbox experience without the level of customization we should be getting that was in the game 11 years ago.
- gt03ks2 years agoRising Rookie@DANGERGOOSE1 You could never edit the ratings on Recruits only do create a recruit. Idk what's the point of recruiting if you could just make the players better after the fact. U could just recruit all 2 stars.

That's not the point

NCAA 2014 was so much fun to play. Being able to manipulate and create ratings and recruits was the best part of dynasty. If they can have this feature in 2014 there is no good reason they can't have it in 2025. When I figured out this feature was not included I almost returned it.
I am expecting a patch to fix this complete miss. If not this will be the last installment in buying. You had 10 years to get it right from the jump. This has got to be fixed immediately.

There should be little to no pushback on this topic. If I can create a team on 2k using *unlicensed* brands (I.e. college teams) and change player names/likeness however I see fit why shouldn’t I be able to do that on this game. Even if they limit full customization to offline modes only how could that possibly be a legal issue?
Dynasty is completely ruined imo when I recruit a guy named DeAndre that is white with a gray beard (why do college recruits have gray hair?). I should at the very least be able to change the face of this player and name to whatever I see fit.

Yeah, that’s the funniest part about this whole thing. It’s such a simple and easy thing for them to do, And they probably Would receive a lot of goodwill in return for doing so.
we can’t even get a single person who worked on the game to even comment on the matter, which is a little disheartening
