So we can supposedly edit fake players that are on the roster before starting dynasty, but we cannot edit random recruits once dynasty starts. This makes no sense and you need to patch this and enable this option in the game.

EA, don't screw around. You have a great game. We know all about the NIL crap. But there is NO REASON why we can't make edits (including RATINGS) to incoming recruits in dynasty mode. I along with many others demand that this be put in the game, or you will have people demanding refunds and/or canceling EA Play. Your choice. 100% agree (CM: Posts shared in a row have been merged. I agree and it doesn't make any sense not to have this in game not to mention other issue with uniform selection. I feel this is the day customization died. I hope more people are up in Arms about this issue. If not they will remove other things.

@DANGERGOOSE1 The attributes are there to be edited, but they are greyed out. There is no way to edit the player at all from what I am seeing. If they are NIL fine, but if we get a recruit and want to edit their overall higher or lower we should be able to do that. Why is the feature in the game but we cannot use it at all, its like its there as a tease

Especially when the screen to set up the dynasty has an option for allowing ratings editing and the options are allow all users, commissioner only, or off. @8lr31kgu1q8f Seconded 100%. Unfortunately I saw the screenshot of dynasty setup options with commissioner option to enable ratings editing and bought the game and foolishly started it before waiting to see what people online were saying. That's on me but I'm still not happy. What exactly are the "ratings" that I'm supposed to be able to edit using that setting. I'm hoping enough people make threads on here and tweet to their account as well as the main devs that they patch it in like they did with Madden 25 (2014). Hello everyone! I’m new here and I also agree with the fact that is very disappointing start to NCAA 25. I understand that they are trying to use the whole “ NIL” reasons of why they didn’t give us player editing… but first and foremost, most of players who are in the top 100 of the best players in college football are more than likely not even gonna be there after the first two seasons of dynasty as is…. That’s why being able to create our own recruits and have a chance to recruit them was such a enjoyed feature because it actually brought real immersion and a different type of satisfaction to be able to accomplish that. I still remember creating my own recruit and if I didn’t get him, I was more motivated to try again. It’s the joy of being to see and create different outcomes happen right in front of us when comes to this game that made ncaa 14 a revered game due to its Imaginative style and even allowing us to truly take control of the schools we wanted to take on. I personally have never made 99 overalls for my schools, if anything I’d do it for the schools I’d play against. That said, if I want to do so, it’s my choice because I’m the one who is on dynasty offline majority of the time and I also paid the money to do so. Dynasty becomes really stale after year 6 because now you only have the cpu generated recruits and a lot of them look like they should be worried about their families instead of actual high school recruits. And I’m offline more times than not, so I enjoyed the sandbox approach to the past ncaa games and being able to edit and play as I please. It’s what kept the game fresh and enjoyable to play. I just feel like it’s a major disservice to everyone who waited for 11 years for this game and for those who didn’t even get to see the game just for us to not even be able to create our own recruits and edit them. Plus, I’m a college athlete myself and the number one thing we all talk about is either” well, if I don’t get the right rating… then I’ll just do it myself” or “ I’m gonna put me and my family/ friends in the game and play/ play against them”… it’s a just one of the few topics we talk about when it comes to stuff like this and to see it missed like this is very disappointing.

@btmnyj811 Can we even trust a third party source at this point? I thinkni saw in one of these threads that EA was going to make editing jersey numbers available in the day one patch when the game released on the 19th (I saw the post days earlier). Not only did we not get that, we also didn't get a day one patch or a patch that fixed any of the issues in the game.

Its not a NIL reason because you CAN edit non-nil players outside of dynasty. You can change their name, abilities, everything except number and face lol.

So get this: I import my Teambulder school into Dynasty and go to change the names (because we can't change them in Teambuilder... insane). And when did that, random jersey numbers got altered for no reason. About half a dozen players ended up having new numbers.
And thanks to this lack of customization, I couldn't change the numbers back to what they were before the Dynasty. I just closed the Dynasty and continued my USC season. I won't bother with it until they 1) Fix Teambuilder and add BASIC components to it that have always been there in prior games, and 2) End this nonsense of not being able to change numbers. Sheesh, man.

@DLeeHawk I completely understand where you're coming from man. The only thing I will say is it won't matter to them, you're still playing the game and that's all they want from a business standpoint. We can complain about the game, make post here and demand they put community requested features back into the game. However as long as that suite engagement data is still showing that people are playing the game in droves they will take their time making the fixes.

I know we all spent our money on this game so I get people not being willing to shelve it, but thisnis pretty egregious.

The sports gaming community always gets treated this way (especially the offline franchise/dynasty community). Publisher put out games with lackluster franchise modes and just expect you to be happy with it. Of course we rarely ever get quality of life updates in those modes unlike the online parts of games. This game was supposed to be all about the dynasty mode and even outside of editing there's a lot of issues with the game. Maybe it's juat me but I'd rather have to create a. Ew coach once I'm inside the mode than prior if it's going to make it faster do pick all of the teams faster.

This is a sports game, it's not an RPG, or action game. The last thing sports gamers want are restrictions on how they experience their games. Also when are the Madden and EA CFB dev teams going to finally ditch the CFM style of franchise, because you know what's really awesome about say MLB the Show or NBA 2K games...pressing one button to man all of the teams. In fact it takes longer to pick specific teams than all of them.

@jfeev508Exactly, I have always hated the RPG elements when it was installed in Madden and there was nothing wrong with NCCA 14 progression system. Heck, it was nothing wrong with the Coaching tree in NCAA 14.

You know, if PLAYER EDIT PERMISSION wasn’t in the game, I could see why they could just keep ignoring our feedback. But it’s there as an option and yet it doesn’t work. It’s there every time before you start a new dynasty.
They can’t stay silent on this forever. At some point they will have to address it.
