These are the following things we’re working on and these are the following things that aren’t changing at this time for [insert reason]. - gsmcc771 year agoSeasoned Novice
I just wish EA had thought about this more before they released the game and failed to include a major feature for all their dynasty mode players. EA has taken our pure excitement and ruined it. Reminds me of when Madden first dropped on PS3 and it took years for them to get it right. I hope you can patch in editing NIL players in Dynasty, if not y'all might lose quite a bit of money moving forward. I know I won't be buying anymore EA games at this point.

Yeah, I can’t lie, I’m starting to get serious buyers remorse here
PLEASE just let us edit the generated PROSPECTS THAT ARE FICTIONAL. If I recruit a gem but he looks terrible or has a terrible name just let us edit the FICTIONAL generated prospect. You could simply lock every preexisting player to protect NIL, but give us the ability to edit the recruits - randomly generated prospects - in dynasty. Let us put our homies on the game for Christ sake.
- LCPLOC521 year agoSeasoned Scout@btmnyj811 Same here. I haven't played this game in over a week. I'm an offline player, and they've ruined it for me with all of the restrictions in dynasty mode. After reading that response from EA it wouldn't shock me if they didn't fix this issue.
EA removing this feature is extremely stupid. I understand why we can’t edit NIL players but for generated players that aren’t real people that you recruit within dynasty, it makes now sense. In the dynasty settings, under the edit player setting it says editing player ratings so idk what EA is doing. Also we should be able to change jersey numbers too because in RTG, you can choose your jersey number and even if a player on the team you sign has that number.

Like a bad relationship, I want to love this game and EA has done the bare minimum to keep me around… but if they don’t value us and/or minimize our valid frustrations with a repeated and canned “We’ve passed it to our team”… eventually we have to be willing to walk away.
- LCPLOC521 year agoSeasoned Scout@trengel I agree. They remove features that we had in previous games, and then they'll add them to future games like it's something we didn't have in previous games. It's getting old.

I too haven’t played in about a week. Just zero depth for me to want to put in the crazy hours I have in NCAA 14… there are several other issues but I could deal with them in the mean time if this was fixed. However it’s not vice versa for me. Fixing sim engines and all the other issues without addressing this will keep the game lingering in my library untouched. Unfortunately I do not expect EA to ever address this. Past experience on other games of theirs shows a horrendous track record. It’s just sad that they took a staple franchise so deeply loved and butchered it. Won’t be buying next year even if they add the editing back as a “new feature”. Faith is absolve rock bottom that they are in tune with their customer base. They have proven that with 5 of their other games before this. Almighty dollar wins, and ultimate teams will continue to take precedent over franchise type game modes. It’s sad because so many only play these game modes, but again cash is king. Oh well on to another studio that will put real effort into their games with their customer base in mind. Rant over…

@brad9211As much as the player editing feature is sorely missed (especially with the player generator for recruits and not being able to change numbers) I really think sim stats are much worse. Omitting player editing seems to have been a conscious choice they made, although it wasn't a good one. The sims stats and the sim engine being an absolute train wreck is a clear design flaw that they either never did the QC on or, they knew it was broken and hoped no one would care. It's like every team is an Air Raid team in simmed games.
